Wow...there's a huge amount of stuff that's changed.
The biggest things I can think of are Enhancement Diversification (ED) and Invention Origin Enhancements (IO and their set bonuses), plus the in-game economy necessary to support the loot for IOs.
Also getting merits of various types is probably better than chasing any influence, once you get your seed capital going.

Edit: Oh yeah...with the advent of global friends and channels most of the action isn't at the zone or SG/coalition level anymore. Global chat channels tend to be where everyone hangs out. JFA2010 and Justice United are the big'uns.

I'm returning to CoH since 2005. I got the Going Rogue pack and will be starting a new character.
Since 2005 is there anything major I should know, any tips hints certain builds to aim towards or stay away from etc?
