Questions about Web granade

Just curious what is the difference between blaster/cor web granade vs scrapper in pvp? do they do the same thing or is one more powerful than the other due to it being a EPP

the blaster and corr versions are AoEs and the scrapper version is ST. although this doesn't have anything to do with one being better than the other as much as the effects do. the blaster version has -fly AND -jump(as well as tank/broot versions) were as the corr and scrap version are just -fly

I see, i see. think my mids may be a little busted giving me -50000 on jumpheight from all webgranades. Ok on to my next question. I am looking to do Traps cor for pvp. i know its not idealistic to use traps but honestly it looks like a jack of all trades. (My original ideas were PD cor, FF defender, or MM blaster for secondaries (Prime on def) )

From the numbers mids is giving me a FF defender can go (Without PFF) up to 45% defense (with power boost) on pretty much everything, not sure how much DR hits that, heck i dont even know how much you need to be decent in pvp on defense (Although i know DR hits it like a brick) but i am not sure if defenders have the power damage wise to back up the survivability.

with PFF and Boost power can go anywhere from 200+ defense
but lacks a any form of healing, hella defense but lack of healing. (any ideas on this concept would be loved)

PD i made it to 50 and was really enjoying the set for the most part, but i really disliked when i was dead and came back and had X amount of time left before my WoP was recharged. Personally i could get off 2 heals before getting demolished in zone pvp, and at least for me (maybe because im still scrub) i couldnt fight anything higher than 0x 0+ well maybe just a little higher but id get stomped in regular pve missions which was a little...eeeh.

MM blaster is hella fun, and i loved just about everything about it, the concept seemed very solid and there were a lot of servival tricks, but i do know that Drain psyche wont entirely help you stay alive like PD would, but it is nice to have the accelerated healing the build up is also what caught my attention seeing as my PD had horrible time fighting stalkers and widows.

Traps which i am currently toying around with look pretty much the best of all worlds. Defense i can get up to 35% with power boost , Triage can be placed in a remote location and used as a fall back (with concealment PP for safe healing) caltraps deal a nice amount of damage when worked with web granade/seekers/(Going soul, so soulstorm)/ and poison trap is auto hit so if i can stun them ( can usually get stuns to last 5+ seconds, trap is 2,07 i think) as well as corruptors having scourge for crit hits. Think im having to worry about is webgranade, if it doesnt stop them like the scrapper version does them i may need to go Mace instead of soul which pretty much throws off a few things. Mace however does give scorpion shield which if i remember correctly gave give me 44% vs everything minus the whole Melee/AoE/Range deal.

I know this is a huge little (possibly futile) analysis but kinda having a hard time finding anyone with knowledge on the subject. Would very much appreciate the feedback. my primary (secondary if Defenders) is set in stone so no debating about that please. im asking for a debated secondary ( these four for the most part)

Thank you very much for the time taken to read this and anyone who is willing to help talk about it

building for defense is pointless.

traps sucks, and ff defender is only good for disruption with kb/repel,

the mm blaster is the best out of the 4 (that isn't saying much) but even then paired with anything other than fire/sonic/psy, you're setting yourself up for a craptastic toon.

yeah building for defense is worthless because you have to gimp yourself to do it. The FF defender can be fun to set up spikes when you are on a team but it will only work against people who are not built with kb protection and most people that pvp do that and it is pretty lolzy as a zone solo toon.
Traps Corr is probably the worst you could think to make for a corr. I would go sonic or rad as the primary and then /therm,/pain or /cold for the primary
The blaster is probably the best of the 4 and that is still pretty meh.. I would definately go with a psi/em/tactics/cold and if you don't want Psi blast then I would go with fire or sonic but stay with /em.

ff works when you run force bubble to get stalkers out of hide and can get folks pinned in corners for team to kill. sheilds are great on team for end drains.

you will be perma target for all stalker so get phase - pff works well too if you carry greens to chew.
