5 Tip Mission a day total or per toon?

I was just wondering. Today I completed 5 tip missions and the Vigilante alignment mission with one of my heroes to make him a Vigilante.
Worked fine and I'm happy with that.

Now I wanted to do move one of my villains to rogue status. I have bean beating countless mobs now (all level 20+) and yet no single tip.

I know it says 5 tip missions a day, but I always thought that would be 5 tip missions per toon.
Or is that 5 tip missions in total? So if I do 5 tip missions with one toon, I have to wait a day to do it with another toon?

It's per toon. If you are still trying, you might even get your tip by the time you read this reply. Just chalk it up to bad luck... or a RNG that isn't on your side. lol

I find getting that first tip to drop is the hardest. After that, I usually get the rest in the tip missions.

Don't forget, both your character and the foes must be 20+.

Doesn't the foe also have to be your level or higher? I'm sure I read that in some thread somewhere . . .

I save the last 1/2 hour of my play time for tips I have always have 3 already and in the course of running them I have always gotten the last two

If you have done a tip mission where you ran in and defeated the boss (or some other objective) without clearing the map, remember that you may continue fighting in the map and perhaps get a new tip right away. As soon as the blue Exit button has shown up the previous tip slot is cleared and you are allowed to get a new tip (unless you have already filled the five fame slots).
