I was thinking about putting a heal and a resist enhancement in my tier 2 demons for leveling but I don't see the point now at level 26 as it is a single target heal that heals to full when he uses it (He uses it often enough to annoy me when I'm about to heal a pet)
He tends to use it when a demonling gets to 50% health once every fight or so for me (Sometimes uses it on my other T2 pet and once used it on me)
If you find that he isn't healing things to full when he uses it it might be worth it but otherwise there isn't much point.

It also depends on your secondary too, if you are Pain, Dark or Thermal I would say dont bother. If you are storm or poison or traps ( or anythign with single target or no heal ) I would say yes. He is basically a pocket emp slotted.
I have a demons/thermal, and I very much like having the extra heal in ember demon. He has the single target heal from level 12-50 and adds the PbAoE heal. These affect your minions and YOU, the mastermind. Where it can really matter is when your mastermind is temporarily mezzed.
I would also urge you to slot some endurance reduction in your second tier demons especially after level 32. They are very busy with the auras and can suck down their end to nothing. Frankenslotting is your friend.

I've seen him heal a fair bit. I'm demons/dark, and occasionally he heals the little ones when I don't have time. I dunno, though, I probably won't specifically enhance it, he's got too much other functionality.
it says on mids the 2nd tier demons can have their heal enhanced. I've never seen him do the heal. Granted Im still at a low level so I havent seen much, but I was wondering if it was worth enhancing this heal (not using IO's, just regular enhancements). Anybody know?
sidenote: my secondary is dark if that matters any
