You're right, the game is pretty loud, but with Win 7 and Vista too (I think) you can open the volume mixer in your system tray and lower the CoH volume to a fraction of the system volume. This should leave other applications like Vent or TS at the 'normal' volume you'd like, while keeping CoH from shattering your eardrums.

Was going to say that i've never had that issue myself, but then i remembered that i normally run Vent through my headset and CoX through the speakers, so i haven't had to deal with that issue.

In game volume is at 3% and I still too loud, to the point where it's hard to hear my buddies in teamspeak. All of them have the same problem. Why is the game so freakin loud?
