Not Able To Access Epic Archetypes At Level 20+

Hi!
I apologize in advance if this question has been asked in the past. I tried looking for an answer to my question before asking, but didn't have any luck.

I recently reactivated my account and was excited to learn that I could access villain and hero epic archetypes at lvl 20. I already have lvl 50 heroes, so that didn't effect me, but my highest villain is lvl 36, so I wanted to make one on the villain side. Problem is, it is not showing that I have access to epic villain archetypes. I tried logging in with two different lvl 20+ villains on two seperate days, but still nothing. Anyone know if there is something else I need to do to unlock these? Thanks!

It could be given you have just reactivated that the system don't see what you had done.

You might need to get another toon to 20. Note Praetorians can't trigger the EATs.

When you first unlock them, I seem to remember that you had to log completely out of the game to get them to show up otherwise you might have to gain a level with your villain to make the system recognize that it is over 20.

Thanks for your replies! I have a lvl 18 villain so I'm going to get to work and see if getting her to lvl 20 solves the issue.

Also try the log into a 20+ then log out completely and back in. Like Knight_Marshal said.

It seems that the system, at times, 'forgets' you have the epic's unlocked. Try logging into that level 36 Villain and logging back out, that should remind it and you should have access to the epics

In beta, that was the big problem - you had to log the 20+ villain in, then log them out again before you could access. No need to actually level, mind you.

Thanks for replies everybody. I tried logging in with 3 different lvl 20+ characters and logged out completely after each one, but nothing worked (I even waited 24 hours to see if it needed time to think about it). Finally I just got my lvl 18 to lvl 20 and as soon as she hit 20 the epic archetypes were unlocked. Kind of annoying, but at least something worked.

Another thought is to try using your second build. Since you level up each time, when your second build dings 20 that might trigger the unlock for you.
