I can't see buying it for $45(Ebay)-$115(Amazon) when I already own the game, had to buy CoH, then CoV, the booster packs, then Going Rogue, the MAC Edition, etc. Can anyone help me find a serial I can buy/apply to my account? I just have a character I'd like to use the power slide with. Thanks.  |

If you can find a store such as BigLots (I think that's the name), I seen posters say they found the CoH CE there for $20. Considering it comes with a month's playtime as well as a badge and a new cape type, that's a good deal if you can find it.

I would definately not trust e-bay or any other end-user-type auction site, as the odds of getting a box that's had the code used is too high.
Check Target, BigLots, WalMart, or any of the other "generic big box" type stores that carry a few games, but aren't actually specialized in games. You can often find old retail boxes in those stores over in the "bargin bins" for less than the actual cost of the free month they include.
Another option is to do an internet search for "City of Heroes Collector DVD Edition". I just did it and found several websites offering it for $10-20. They all state "new" or "unused", but I didn't bother to check up on any of thier reliability levels to see if they are auction or scam sites.
