Complementing KInetic Melee
For stacking -dam, ice/kin/soul or shield/kin/soul.
KM goes well with just about any primary, though. Granite users might find the availability of a ranged attack and a ranged cone handy.

Other 50s: Plant/Thorn, Bots/Traps, DB/SR, MA/Regen, Rad/Dark - All on Virtue.
-Don't just rebel, build a better world, comrade!
For a tank, the total investment for the soft cap, if you take Weave and Combat Jumping, is seven IOs - one Steadfast and six Gaussians.
Everything else is gravy.

/sd like /sr doesn't require much to '
make good' guven the upcoming changes in the market and the hams/vams it will be cheaper than ever
On top of that, your attacks are the main reasons for endurance problems. They take a much larger amount of endurance over time than toggles do.
Take Physical Perfection, slot for end reduction, spend 20 million on a Performance Shifter. Pick up Conserve Power.
Or go for Ice, which has Energy Absorption to cover your endurance woes. Electric Armor basically has limitless endurance.
Endurance problems can be slotted away, if you're willing. And it does not have to be expensive. My level 38 fire armor scrapper recovers (gross) nearly three endurance per second, and I have not made any influence transfers to her - she's running solely on what she's earned.
Gift of the Ancients, Thunderstrike, Cleaving Blow, Eradication, there are plenty of sets that are inexpensive and give bonuses to recovery.

Toggles don't have nearly as big an impact on endurance as most people think. Those 7 toggles, each with one IO worth of end reduction, and maybe 2 on fighting, equal out to about the same endurance one offensive toggle takes without end reduction.
On top of that, your attacks are the main reasons for endurance problems. They take a much larger amount of endurance over time than toggles do. |
Six slots is 2.5% defense to all three positions - melee, ranged and AoE.

A full set of Gaussian's gives you 2.5% defense to all three vectors.

I think WP goes with it the best since you've already got decent defense, and regen. It helps with mitigating exotic types of damage. But really like the others said there isn't a primary that isn't helped by more -damage.
Active (Freedom): Setna (Ice/Psi Dom), Arram (WP/KM Tank), Tesmiel (Elec/SS Tank), Astredax (Robot/Dark Mastermind), Operative Vidali (melee fortunata)
Retired (Virtue): Gaav (Inv/EM Tank), Baqra (Fire/SS Tank)
Eh I kinda like the idea of a Granite tank doing all those fancy moves
my bs/shield scrap disagrees.
she runs 8 toggles, and runs a complete attack chain pretty much indefinitely (or at least i've never had end issues before everything is dead). no stamina problems.
I wonder if you've ever played one or are just talking like you have.

I have not gotten to use the beta. Never tried KM. I was wondering if theres any defenses that really 'go' with KM good. Also I'm not sure what exact AT i should do for a KM toon.
