I am a huge noob and I did not know in the 3-4 years I've been playing that if you activate two inspirations at the same time that you get the benefits of both.

All this time I've been using no more than one red at a time, same with purples, oranges, yellows, etc.

I just thought I'd mention this here since I've never seen it mentioned anywhere until someone casually mentioned it while explaining how easy the game was for them. Go figure.

I do recommend that it be nominated for a tooltip.

I will go hide my head in shame now.

Additional Inspiration tips:
-Each inspire has an individual name, by type and size, allowing you to use them via slash command.
-You can go into the menu to change how they are shown as stacking. Numerical (shows 1 inspire on your status bar, with a number on top to denote how many you popped), None (lines them up in a row) and some other setting ("standard"?) which shows them overlapping to save a little screen space, but not saving as much as numerical.
-If you have three of the EXACT same, you can right-click on them to change them into ONE of what you really want.
-If there is an inspire that you want to NEVER use accidentally (like Break-frees or whatever) and you use the F-keys to pop your inspires, put them in a stack with an Awaken at the bottom.

I'd been playing for nearly 3 years... on Blasters... and I very rarely ate inspirations as I never really noticed any bonus from them. I'd actually delete numerous reds and yellows and what not just to have a tray full of blues and breakfrees. Even after the ability to combine came out.

Then, one fateful night, I happened to be running thru the Croatoa arcs on my Elec/Elec when I noticed a lone hero trying to take down Eochai close to the train. I stood watching for a minute, far enough away so my level 28 self didn't get stomped. Then I watched as he zoomed off at SS.

I figured he'd just given up and started typing out a tell to a buddy. As soon as I sent the tell he appeared again, tearing into Eochai. It's then that I noticed he was actually bringing the beasts health down! The hero was only 34. I used local to ask just how he was doing this and he informed me of the liberal use of inspirations. He'd run to Bower and buy a tray full of various goodies. quickly popping every one of them.

So I joined in. I SS'd to Bower, got a tray full of Yellows and Reds then ran back. Since he was holding the aggro I just stood at range and blasted away! Eochai was down in less than 5 min. after that!

I haven't looked at inspirations the same way since. Really improved my high level gameplay too.

Inspirations are my Stalkers power source. I normally solo at +1/x3 with him, but I know I probably couldn't do that without inspirations. Occasionally I'll be forced to drop it down for troublesome groups like Rikti or Cimerorans, but most of the time I'll just pop one luck or sturdy and go to town. I wouldn't be able to defeat the Nemesis army without a big tray of insights to help out (Lieutenants cast Vengeance on defeat). Malta requires some blues (duh) and enrage for those pesky robots.

People always say that lethal damage doesn't fare well in the late-game. That's when I say "That's what inspirations are for." =P

This Guide changed the way I play. It makes it so easy and fast to have the Insp that I want
