Stone/WP

Was Curious if anyone has any input on this build? My SS/INV brute is now into farm mode thanks to the help from Dsorrow with some input from Tangler and I now find myself moving onto another powerset.

I pretty much only play red side with a few exceptions (my Earth/Storm Troller and my AR/ICE auctioneer, lol)

I figured it'd be alot of fun to play (who doesn't enjoy beating things with large rock mallets?) and with WP being a solid secondary anyways, its win win right?

Any comments from people who have one/tried one
Pros?
Cons?

and do you need stamina with a WP brute? maybe with Stone as its an end pig? (maybe I'm wrong?)

I have one of these as a Tanker and have played both sets to 50 on brutes separately. The combo on my tank is great and it should be just as awesome on a brute.

You will need Stamina in addition to Quick Recovery, SM uses that much endurance. Also, don't skip Fault. Isn't doesn't do damage, but is is just a great power
(you can add procs to it to make it do damage though)

Thanks for the input!

Any powers I should skip over?

I generally skip Hurl Boulder in SM and Resurgence in WP.

I also take Tough/Weave as well.

Here is how I slot Fault also:
Stupefy: Acc/Recharge
Stupefy: End/Stun
Razzle Dazzle: Acc/Recharge
Razzle Dazzle: Acc/Stun/Recharge
Force Feedback: Chance for +recharge
Explosive Strike: Chance for Smashing Damage

set bonuses gained: 2.5% recovery from Stupefy and 2% recovery form Razzle Dazzle.

This slotting has always worked well for me and the procs help a lot. There is also the Perfect Zinger proc you could slot in there for a little more damage, but you would have to lose one of the set bonuses which on a WP would be OK.

I have one of these and can confirm it is a beast.Nothing in range of my PbAoE's is on their feet to attack me, and just feeds my regen.
I bult for max HP's (of course), defense and recharge. I went with Ghost Widow as my patron for the -to hit and combined with my built up defense numbers, im softcapped.
Yes you will want both quick recovery and stamina as this build chews thru end especially with good recharge to keep evrything on their backs and debuffed.

SM/WP is great, but to echo everyone else: take Stamina along with QR. Your endurance bar will love you for it. Or at least, it'll stop whimpering.

I ended up slotting for recharge in general; SM on high recharge plus Tough and Weave means that as long as you have endurance, mobs around you aren't going to kill you, and you will go through endurance fairly quickly. Generally I just don't worry about what's hitting me until my hp drop to 50%, then hit Fault and watch them climb - I didn't build for hp or defense set bonuses and don't have to worry about surviving in spite of that.

Right on, sounds like alot of fun to be honest and I already enjoy it it will be nice to see what I'm capable of with it as I already have a generally good understanding of my limitations with SS/INV

Thanks everyone.
