Protip: Typing in /getglobalname (insert character name here) will tell you their global name.

I've tried using chat logs in the past but I can never find where it saves to. Just like I can't find costume or critter files.
Most likely has to do with the way the wrapper works for the mac version of the game. :/

Hello Virtue!
A few weeks ago, I had an RP encounter in the D with a sentient virus by the name of Dekan, but I forget both the specific character name and never got your global.
I'd like to bounce some ideas off you for some more RP, and an AE arc, but I need more information.
If you're out there, Dekan, PM me or send a tell/email to me...or if anyone knows who that fellow was!
