/Film reader Luis R sent me an e-mail containing the extended alternative ending to Steve Barron’s live-action 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. The ending was never released theatrically, and has only yet to surface on the German DVD release of the movie. It involves April O’Neil trying to pitch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle story as a potential idea for a comic book series. I’ve never seen this ending before, so I thought I’d share it with the /Film readers. Hit the jump to watch the Alternative Extended ending.

Good God. I can see why they removed that bit from the end of the movie. Blech. Just a little warning after the clip some guy chimes in and uses a bit of language so just be warned he uses a little NSFW words.

Yeah, that ending with April would have just given the story...

If it was an after credits ending, it would have been alright. This clip reminded me of how much more I liked the first April, who looked more like the comic April, over the second one, who looked more like the cartoon April.
