Question with Ice/Stone Tank

I made an Ice/Stone tank. How tankerish will I be?? I plan on basically picking up all Ice powers and relying on Fault and Tremor to mitigate damage... I want a Tank who wont die often and be able to run from spawn to spawn and not worry about faceplating. This will be my first serious try at a tank, my other 50's are Scraps and Brutes. I am not worried about being a damage dealer, just someone who can lead a team efficiently. Did I pick the wrong combo?? Any and all help/advice from the masses would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Should be a great combo.

He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

It's a great combo, and Ice is really strong dont let anyone tell you different. Be sure to take CE and I strongly reccomend Icicles as well. They are both good proc mules. I reccomend all Ice powers except Permafrost but if you can afford the slot it helps your fire resistance and gives some good slow/recharge debuff resistance. I'f you take Weave and slot it well you only need to get. 9% def to s/l/e/n to get to softcap and you can already get 3 from the steadfast unique.

You will also have no problem grabbing aggro and surviving it once you are softcapped. Your only large hole is your minimal fire resistance, psi, and no resistance to e/n attacks that get through your defense(assuming you take tough you can get some good s/l resistance) but it is still rare. I notice the fire and psi hole more than anything. Mostly fighting Carnies and Nemesis after several vengeance stacks

Seriously.. you should be able to survive almost anything between The Defense of Ice, The Heal and Hit Point boost of Hoarfrost, the OH CRAP of Hibernate, the ability to fill your end bar with Energy Absorption and the mitigation that exists in Stone.. I have one at level 50 and I have survived everything so far.

And I forgot about Chilling Embrace itself reducing incoming damage.

The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.

If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-

Also has a hefty recharge debuff wich is just another form of a damage debuff.

It's a great Combo.
My only 50 is an Ice/Stone tanker. He's quite indestructible. I have a damage proc in CE and 2 in Icicles, evey ten seconds a bunch of weenies die, lol.
Ice is an awesome main(granted i hate the way it looks)

Stone is fun for me because of the screen shake. It's the only power that feels powerful ya know?
