For my opinion, the old maps and zones after UM looking good enough for almost 7 years old game.
And the new zones in Praetoria are amazing, and it looks like a complete renovated game (like WW said ). I didnt believe its was possible to make CoX zones looks this good.
But I think _Psi_ and Emberly are right. What is really showing age are the game avatars. Even EQII avatars got fingers, animated hair and facial expressions. Its gets difficult to stand at them after all this time they only added animated tails and new costume pieces, not a real upgrade to them apart new faces and hairstyles.
Everytime I see Foreshadow or Mirror Spirit I ask why we can look like them.

I stopped there... How dare you bring up that nasty poor excuse for an MMO... Take the ability to pick any power pool at anytime like you can in CO and I will NEVER quit COH for another game. EVER!!!!!!... At least till COH 2.0 comes out.

I can't argue against that.

Let's hope that if the CC here ever gets updated, they keep whoever made the new auction house UI far away from the project!

CO is boring as hell...
Also with a couple of lvls 30 you can actually try almost every power.
You can "respec" powers step by step with resources. Also they have the powerhouses, where you can pick powers, try it, keep it or change it again till you are happy.
CO gots a couple of moments, but nothing compared with a TF or even a while in a 8 people team. Its a solo MMO and got no content.

I like the new CC update where you can go any where you want in the process without hitting the cancel button a lot... Helps people like me that change their minds a lot!

Wordlessly hand someone an obscure instrument that they have never heard of before like say a recorder and see what happens... many will figure it out and be playing it in a matter of minutes.
They will figure it out first, and sure as everything you'd need either natural ability ("commitment" in the terms of the original article) or training in musical theory, solfège exercises, etc. ("process") to play anything like music.

Just monkeying around with a recorder would produce a series of whistles, not music, no matter how good a show of knowing what you're doing you can put up.

Hehe, eh, I make my living by pretending that I know what I'm doing

It can work surprisingly well.

And sure... I've figured out a fair amount along the way, but still... Shhhhh.

Is that because of you though, or because of the general idiocy of other people?

I honestly don't think it makes much difference in most cases even if you tell people. A surprising number of folks like to be fooled.

Haha, an excellent question/point.

Being that it is in the realm of art and entertainment, I'm going to say it is because of me... but I may be trying to foll ya!

In most cases though, yeah, tons of people skate by without knowing (nor caring) about what they do, hehe. And, in most cases, people generally don't care (Until it it hits them upside the head, after the fact... all your faulty appliances, poorly made stuff, lousy service, ruined entertainment industries... etc), hehehe.
Anyways... I am going to stop derailing things... didn't mean to!
