Solo SG just expanded. What do I add next?
once you have all the storage and teleporters you want, everything else is cosmetic.
have fun with it.
YMMV---IMO
Ice Ember
I would say it is all decorative at this point but that is where the fun is.
Relax, build what you want. Then decide ewe, what was I thinking.
Rebuild.
Repeat several times.
Enjoy your day please.
LOL. Thanks.
Of course, I didn't see themlisted, but I assume you already have an invention table, personal vault, invention storage, salvage rack and such? Also, having a pillar of ice and flame saves time having to go to Ouroboros for Flashback missions.
Tier 3 Empowerment Stations...
You'll need to craft a tier 1 station from a crafting table
then use the tier 1 to craft a tier 2 station,
then use the tier 2 to craft a tier 3 station.
You could prolly get by with a tier 2 station for a while, but if you do a lot of TF/Trials/(CoP)... you'll want the tier 3 eventually.

YUMMY Low-Hanging Fruit for BASE LUV
So a Tier 3 station will craft everything on the list of buffs?
I should probably add one of these. I wonder if the SG I'm in has one; I've never bothered with such buffs, ever.

My solo SG had 8 teleporters and a very basic med bay which had maxed out my energy/control - and then discovered I had enough prestige to upgrade to secure base, and increase # of generators to 2, and add more control. Immediately, I added 3 more teleporters and all my remaining beacons.

I'm currently the co-owner of three bases with 11 or 12 teleporters [yes, I know we only NEED 11!] By the time I added in beacons, computers and whatnot for control, I've been right at the power limit myself. The first time I simply connected two circuit breakers to my generator, thus saving myself the cost of an additional energy room.
The second time I came up with a few ways to simply hide a Combo Power and Control Unit in an Oversight Center, since I needed a 3x3 room anyhow -- and an Oversight Center is cheaper than a 3x3 decorative room. One Combo unit is in a false ceiling and the other...I'll have to go look again!
Exactly - it'll craft all three Tiers of empowerment buffs -- some are really handy for new, lower level toons, and then others can come in handy for specific things. Going after Malta? There's an Endurance Drain resist buff! Planning on ghosting a few missions? There's an Invisibility buff, and so on.

30 level 50's: 12 scrappers, 7 other random melee types, 11 blaster/blapper/support squishies, two accounts, and a TON of altitis since 4/28/04
Hmmm, well my solo SG now has a tier 3. ^_^ But I checked my large SG, the Gamma division that I'm in only has tier 2. I'll have to get someone to fix that; it's a much larger SG/base than my solo base.

Thanks, Kat. Hadn't even considered these. Probably only needed the Teir 2 ... but went with the Tier 3 because it looks so much cooler.
All that is planned fails. All that is born dies.
All that is built crumbles. This will always be true.
But memories remain, And that is beautiful.

As I begin earning new prestige, what should I consider (slowly) adding or upgrading next? When it comes to base-building, I'm a real novice and never thought I would have a larger base. Is it all just decorative at this point? Or are their real benefits to save up for?
