In all seriousness, It has, as I said been a while since I played. Will we be charged to move our toons to a new server if the community has died on your home server, as opposed to just wanting to go to a new server because that is the way the wind blew that day?
Ok, was just on victory., Ghost town. Saw 2 people. 
I forgot how much I disliked trains. I hope they do away with that nonsense for the sequel. Also saw the whses still looked the same as they did years ago.
Other than that, fun game. Would have been more fun if A) There were people and B) I hadn't forgotten how to do the simple stuff.

Unfortunately you have 2 options and fortunately there may be a 3rd.
You will have to pay $9.99 per character that you want to move over.
You could recreate that alt here and start over
The Devs have hinted that Free Server Transfers may be having a guest appearance near Going Rogue, so it "may" be possible.
In any case, I recommend that you make alts here on Guardian with the names of your characters from Victory so you keep your name. When it comes time to transfer over, just delete the placeholder here on Guardian and retain the name.
(Aug 17th is the "Official" GR release date, not Aug 3rd btw)
As it's been mentioned, we are a family here. We get silly, and no, you don't have to wear pants if you don't want to.

It kinda stinks though that I should have to pay to change servers when its obvious it isn't being done to abuse the system, I just want to participate in an MMO (you know, the massive multiplayer online thing all the kids are talking about? ).Gaurdian seems like nice people so far, hope i can eventually make it there. Yeah, seems GameStop Clerks have no real idea what's going on. The clerk I spoke to at our store was under the impression that CoH was replaced by Chumps Online and that Cryptic still owned us... 
I even printed out the webpage that the Official Announcement in the above section pointed to (at GameStop.com) and she still didn't get it... <boggle>

The server has it high population times and low depending on the time of day. But for the most part we do play well others. when we want to
I am usually playing villains and try to get villain SF's going. I am not much for normal team missions, but I will occassionally do those. Also I don't mind helping out if you run into a baddie that is a little to nasty.
Oh, and please say something if the kids are reading chat over your shoulders, and I'll try to stay between PG adn PG-13, G is out of the question

Hello all! When I came back to the game a year ago, my old server, Victory, was a ghost town. I just bought a 2 month game time card to check out the new issue and the new expansion when it hits next month on the 3rd. What server, if any can you guys suggest? I am 36, with two kids, I just game to have fun. I'd LIKE to get decent at PvP but it isn't THAT important. I used to belong to Legion of Valor on Victory but they had some serious time restrictions (have to check in x-amount, etc). I just want to find a fun group of guys or gals to play casually with, what do you suggest? Is it even worth coming back to at this point? Can't wait to hear from everyone.
EDIT: I meant for the title to say "Looking for a new SERVER". Crap. I can't change it, I apologize.
