Yes that is right. I need a malaise's illusions triple IO. redside lv35-40 only. None for sale

And i don't wanna wait for lv47 for a lv50 one. i will pay at least market value.

This is exactly my point.

OP, i have erased this drop many times, because it was not worth anyone's time to tie up sell space.

Let us know, and put in a bid for 900,000,000 and you will get it. If you want to buy it for less than 1,000,000 (I don't know what market is on confuse triple, nor where it comes from) then someone needs to step up.

Ooh, a sarcasm detector. Oh, that's a *real* useful invention. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technolog...t-sarcasm.html

If people placed outstanding bids on these things and let them sit there for what they're willing to pay, then people wouldn't delete them anymore.

And just to clarify, yes this is a recipe from the pool you get for merit recipe rolls. Example: same chance for this recipe as one of the coveted numina/miracle/lotg recipes.

I guess the main problem since this recipe tops out at 50 that alot are being rolled at 50 rather than a player rolling when their toon is 40 or lower

Actually, no. I've seen this more than a few times (in the 35ish range) but given what I was hoping for and what I got.....well, flushing this one was a no brainer.

Exactly. But the prospective buyers don't want to "waste" a slot with an outstanding bid and few people are philanthropic enough to post something that won't sell so you get this problem.

StoneJaguar, post your bid for it across the range you want and let it ride. Many newer marketeers aren't willing to tie up a slot for an item with no bids outstanding. The Field of Dreams approach doesn't tend to work with low demand sets like Confuse.

How I'd like to see this go is that as a buyer I put out a number of bids not quite at what I'd like to actually pay to indicate my interest, maybe a half a dozen bids. Someone sees this, and posts for what they might think is a reasonable amount. I see that it has been listed and then increase my bid more to the range of what I am willing to pay (which more than likely is going to end up meeting whatever the list price was anyway).

Why not just bid what I think is fair in the first place? Well, I may not really feel like laying out 6x that price. Especially if there is a chance that I don't check the market for a few days and find that "hey hey! I now have SIX OF THESE!" (not likely, but could happen) Of course doing this there is a risk that I don't see the item in time and someone else buys it. That'd be my own fault.

I actually make some of these low profit IOs and put them up. They take forever to move. I won't usually craft one that I will lose money on, but I will put the recipe up for sale on mule at what I would get from a vendor and cover the listing fee.

Just because I don't need Trap of the Hunter doesn't mean other players don't.

Finally got one I think a level 44 or was it 34? It was the only one listed as a recipie, snagged it for 1 or 2 mill I think. Just because I would pay up to 30 mil doesnt mean I wont bid creep up to that point.

Snagged the last level 50 triple for 10k last week just to be safe. Reposted for 10mil (uncrafted) since its the only one for sale.

6.25% recharge for 5 and 3.13% ranged def for 6... thats some nice set bonuses.

well, i didnt get the lv35-40 i wanted but i got a lv21 for 25K I really just wanted the set bonuses for having 6 of em. My dominator is on a static team anyhow so the bonuses from the IO itself aren't that important.
If necessary, I can buy and create a lv50 one when i get lv47 to replace it.
