MotoGP Theme tune, pure plagiarism or innocent coincidence?

This is the theme music that played before every race in the MotoGP class. I'm sure you'll agree, very similar to a certain tune I hear many times a day.

Seeing that this theme has been going since 2008, do you think possibly the composer was a player or a fan?

Hummmm MotoGP and CoH? ? ?

I would love to level up with Colin Edwards. or Maybe run a Valentino Rossi Task Force.

The number of movies, television shows, radio shows, music, youtube videos, and many other media that you will hear sounds and tunes that are identical what we hear in the game are probably in the thousands. Purchasing access to libraries is a quick and easy (and arguably cheap) approach to adding music and sound effects to something.

The funny thing about Cryptic's Champions Online was that it sounded so incredibly similar to CoH because they just held onto the sound library rather than trying to differentiate themselves in the audio department. I think that was a driving force behind the new sound design that came in Issue 17.

Seriously, I had a YouTube of some leaked CO footage playing in the background once while I was coding and I really couldn't believe it was a different game until I tabbed over and watched.
