GL_ARB_MultiTexture problem. :(

Cant even launch the game, and I get these errors.

"You card or driver doesn't support GL_ARB_multitexture"
"You card or driver doesn't support GL_ARB_texture_compression"

Also I've already tried updating my drivers, I actually ended up reverting them back to the one that came with the card so thats a no go unless an earlier driver would work. :x

Well the card is an AGP and I had to use the ATI agp hotfix for the new drivers. When I installed it however it made no difference, but actually made things worse garrys mod and several other games didn't work properly. So I had no choice but to revert back to the drivers that came on the disk when I initially got the card.

I want to play so bad, I am a total nerd for comic books and mmo's.

Come on somebody throw me a bone here.

check your catalyst setting and make sure all of the performance sliders are set to application preference. I have the exact same issue when I upgraded to 275.xx drivers for nvidia so I don't think it is a vendor specific problem. I am running 260 gtx in sli and I tweaked some settings in the nvidia control panel and bam I got the errors.

Screw it, this computer sucks I have an idea though.

I played the trial version of the game on a x800 PRO 256mb VM. While I dont have a problem with having to revert back to an older card my concern is will it be able to run the game well if at all in populated areas or when this "going rogue" expansion comes out.
