  1. That does seem like a great idea. I will definatly try that out as soon as I get home. :x As of now I am out of town for a few days. I will bump this thread though once I try it out. I have a good feeling about that driver sweeper
  2. I've tried the thing above before, but if it means playing perhaps I will try it again. I'm going to post how I am going to install it.

    1. ATI uninstall software utility
    2. Select remove all AMD/ATI stuff
    3. Let that do it's thing....
    4. Restart comp
    5. Run the driver's setup from the AMD website.
    6. Let that do its thing
    7. restart comp
    8. Profit?
  3. Screw it, this computer sucks I have an idea though.

I played the trial version of the game on a x800 PRO 256mb VM. While I dont have a problem with having to revert back to an older card my concern is will it be able to run the game well if at all in populated areas or when this "going rogue" expansion comes out.

    Thanks
    ~James

    Specs:

    3 gigs of ram
Dual Core 2.0ghz AMD Athylon x64
    Windows XP
(If changed) x800 GTO 256mb video memory AGP AGP AGP AGP AGP AGP
  4. Come on somebody throw me a bone here.
  5. Well the card is an AGP and I had to use the ATI agp hotfix for the new drivers. When I installed it however it made no difference, but actually made things worse garrys mod and several other games didn't work properly. So I had no choice but to revert back to the drivers that came on the disk when I initially got the card.

I want to play so bad, I am a total nerd for comic books and mmo's.

IT also says "Plug and play monitor on ATI Radeon HD 4600 series"
  6. Cant even launch the game, and I get these errors.

"You card or driver doesn't support GL_ARB_multitexture"
"You card or driver doesn't support GL_ARB_texture_compression"

Also I've already tried updating my drivers, I actually ended up reverting them back to the one that came with the card so thats a no go unless an earlier driver would work. :x
