Fix Invulnerability pls

Hello everyone.

I figured that I would write a short suggestion or request for the power invulnerability, I've noticed through the years that this power has been lacking in the endurance ability, and I know with good slotting you can keep that from happening. But still for people who never has the money to dedicate their time to enhance it properly I was wondering if there's a way to fix the endurance drain that comes from using this ability. I mean you can play as a Willpower or Rock or something like that for your tank or scrapper that has connections to invulnerability. I mean I love this power, it's one of the original powersets to the game, and I can never replace it with anything else but. I still would love to see some improvement to this power.

Thanks for listening to my rant and request

There isn't anything really wrong with Invuln atm. It's a solid middle of the road performer now.

Invulnerability is fine the way it is, especially after the passive power buff it recieved not too long ago. If you give an endurance buff to invulnerability, you'd have to give one to shields, SR, etc. No point to that--just slot properly to compensate.

If you are having problems maintaining endurance, do what everyone else does with every other "armor" set out there. Slot endred in your attacks. You have no reason to assume that you can slot an acc, three damage and two recharges in everything, stack Hasten (three slotted) atop that, and throw attacks like a caffiene fiend OD'ing on speed forever and a day.

Your various "armor" toggles are a pittance for endurance by comparison to the endurance eaten by your attacks.

In short, even though you don't want to hear "slot things appropriately or put up with "down time" when you run out of endurance", that's the correct answer to your complaint.

Wait... What?

Are you talking about Invulnerability the POWERSET, or Invincibility the power? There is no power in the game called Invulnerability. Also, how do you define "lacking in endurance ability? Both Willpower and Stone Armour have a significantly heavier endurance drain just on their toggles. Granted, Willpower also has Quick Recover, but Stone Armour does not, and it has at least five toggles plus a damage aura that you need to worry about. Or are you talking about perma Granite?

Finally, Invulnerability is one of the lighter armour sets in terms of endurance consumption. Regeneration notwithstanding, Invulnerability only has two standard-cost toggles and one low-cost one (Invincibility). If that's costing you too much endurance, I'd say it's probably your attacks doing it. See about slotting them for endurance reduction.

Invulnerability is a Power Set, not a power. Where were you when they buffed Invulnerability? It has sufficient defense debuff, end drain and slow resists now.

Slotting IOs from the Resist Sets is hardly rocket science, much less all that costly =\

Also, it's called Stone Armor, not "Rock"

Well, Invincibility's visual effects still aren't showing. But that's the only broken part I can think of.

Eh, I can live with that kind of broken. Invulnerability was always way too flashy for what it was anyway.

I even claim that Decorum has a suit made of diamond fiber to kind of hand-wave it away.

Dec out.

Invulnerability is probably the best general purpose defense set for tankers right now, fairly good for scrappers; brutes have a bit more of an issue because of endurance, but Reflexes is worse in that department. For a tanker, it can be made close to Stone in durability with none of the playstyle or aesthetic annoyances. And as noted, there are things in your build that you can do for endurance, even without resort to set IOs.

This is from someone who has always thought the endurance mechanic has always been the least attractive feature of the game, and should be way less conspicuous. Invulnerability now has plenty of compensation for its lack of a recovery tool, though.

Yeah. You can turn it off now thank God, but one of my characters still rocks the shiny "Look at me!!!" rays. Errr, when they work right.
