Blizzard and the Posi Proc

Is the Positron: Chance for Energy damage proc worth slotting in Blizzard? I will eventually have a set of Ragnaroks in (everything but the Dam.) so wondering whether the proc is worth it in the sixth slot.

I'm assuming that it will have a chance to tick every 10 seconds on each enemy? Has anyone tried this in their Blizzard? Good/bad experiences? My Dark/Ice build is quite tight so I'll just end up leaving 5 slots in Blizzard unless anyone can disprove me or has any other cool suggestions As a point of reference I will be looking to use Blizzard quite often as the Blaster level damage it has is too much fun.

Thanks in advance.

You're right, it'll check on every target in range when first summoned and then again 10sec afterwards.

I'd not bother, Blizzard does plenty of damage as is. If you've got a way to regain endurance and want to use it as often as possible, I'd put in a recharge rdx in the 6 slot, if anything. Ragnarok gives pretty good recharge, though, so it might be fine without it.

What I did was put 5 Ragnaroks in Ice Storm and 5 Posis and a rech rdx in Blizzard.

I'm pretty much in agreement with Silas.

I highly doubt you'd notice the damage proc go off in most cases. Blizzard already does knockdown, so slotting the KB proc from the Ragnarok set is a bit redundant.

Alright thanks guys I'll probably just leave it with 5 Ragnaroks in then, cheers for the help.

... at one point I was trying to experiment with breaking the "max enemies" limit with Blizzard. Even though it only hit 16 people at a time, I could take out a herd of 25 Banished Pantheon. It kinda ran into trouble at times, because I needed two tanks to keep things herded, and the only other tank I could find was a firetank...

Edit- Also note that BanPan husks are resistant to cold.

Sounds fun Fulmens! And yeah, Blizzard is one of the most fun powers in the game for me. Concerning hitting 25 mobs, I'm pretty sure I killed more than 16 Romans when clearing the rooftops in the last mission of the ITF, though all that lag never helps.
