Can I clear the "Happy 6 Year Anniversary" over my title?

Sorry. You're stuck with it. It'll eventually fade out on its own, but I'm not sure what timer was put on them when they were given out. They may be around for all of May.

Why doesn't he just go into options and turn off his name/title? I do it all the time when I want to take a screenshot. He knows his own characters name and turning it off so he doesn't see it won't prevent other players from seeing it.

I guess that means you can turn it *on* so you can see your title without having to skim thru all the badges to see which one is highlighted (and invariably accidentally clicking one and setting it as the current badge displayed along the way).

Yep. You can turn yours on/off, you can have a health/end bar on/off, you can choose to see or not see other players names.
It's under Options, first tab on the left. When you have the time just slowly scroll down the list and see all the things you can adjust.
It was cool and all for a couple days. Now, it's just a bit clutter-y. Is there a way to get rid of it? I've looked through as many options as I could think of, I've reset my badge displayed, I've reset my title... nothing seems to kill that little yellow text.
Help me... any ideas? Thanks.
