It's not the system, it's the server we're connecting to. Apparently this latest patch made the connection to the server unstable for more than a few people. I used to have zero problems with it, but this is the third time I've been dropped in 30 minutes, this is not acceptable.
Make it fourth in 35. Won't try playing again until this is fixed.

Something changed about an hour ago. I magically now no longer have any problems.

what i would suggest is doing a disc clean up and defrag. then shutting down your comp, then doing a modem and router reset by unplugging all power supplies, disconnect the cable from modem to router, wait 1 min then reconnect the modem to router cable, plug in the modem then wait 30 secs, then plug in the router and wait 30 secs, then turn on your comp and see what happens.
Don't you think I did that? I'm not completely tech-illiterate. (Well, okay, 99%, but still, that's not 100! 
) I connect to everything else just peachy-keen fine, but Virtue server drops me in less than 10 minutes each time. It's not my system, or my connection, I'll assure you of that.

It is eating memory for intel processors. Noticed this just a few moments ago. I was running at 46% before the patch. Now, I am running at 90% memory usage, with a 7% CPU rate.
Something is definitely wrong.

The game client was unable to connect to the login server. This may be due to a local network issue such as a firewall block, or may be because the login server is down for maintenance. I was on tonight in Pinnacle and elsewhere, so something in your router or firewall was updated or corrupted or something of the sort.
Edit: Just noticed you'd posted this a few other times, and started a new thread on it, to boot. Probably best if you put all your eggs in one basket, so to speak, so you're not getting the same things repeated over and over in various threads.

i dunno whats wrong but after i17 i can have spikes to up to 40k ping
Please post your basic configuration info here, lets see if we have a pattern.
