XP/Inf rewards different for different Standard Enemies?

I've head that certain Standard Enemies (namely Freakshow and Paragon Protectors) are worth more XP/Inf than other Standard Enemies at the same level/con.

Is this true?

If so, which groups are worth the most? Are there any which are just worth less than the default?

Standard enemies in MA are capped at the base XP rate. So anything which normally has an XP modifier >1.0 will actually give you base XP instead. Standard mobs which normally have a modifier of >1.0 still have the reduced XP in MA.

ok so lets make this clear, I am not looking for an exploit.

but is there a way for me to up the reward + risk past standard mobs, on x8 +4 ??

Well, that's just plain stupid (not you, Eva Destruction...the limit if it's true).

So, if we're fighting 52s (hence the +2), we get experience as though they are 50s???

That makes no sense at all. The difference settings have to make a difference, so I think you are mistaken, Eva Destruction.

First, you have to have more experience for fighting higher level mobs.

Second, the +8 setting has you fighting MORE mobs, so you have to get more experience for that as well.

If boosting mobs from 50 to 54 does not increase the experience, then the developers are robbing players of a good experience...and a fair one.

I userstand them wanting to reduce farming, but give me a break. The Devs are ruining a good tool (AE) because of kids taking advantage over a summer break.

And yes...another summer break is coming and we will see a severe increase of idiocy in the game...but that has been the case each and every year since game launch.

I really could care less if AE is used for farming. The only thing that bugged me was that Atlas Park got so crowned that it was hard to move.

They should have a Rikti war ship detroy the AE building in Atlas. That would solve more issues than these nerfs.

Angel, I think you are misunderstanding this. +2 mobs will give xp appropriate to their level. What's being questioned is that there is a certain reward that is considered "standard" for each level/class of enemy. Some mobs (as shown in Culex's guide) give more than standard xp, because they are deemed more of a risk and thus worth more of a reward. However, in AE this "bonus" reward is capped. A mob that would normally be worth, say, 20% more XP is capped to the standard reward numbers in AE.

So setting your reputation higher *will* increase rewards, but not beyond those considered standard for the mobs.
