I take it this is a known bug.

Quitting an AE arc partway while in the middle of a mission (the first mission, after I realized that it was apparently a Henchman Farm) might leave you stranded inside the pillar.

/stuck gets you out, but I admit it was fun in there.

You know... To be honest, I'd actually prefer it if we could walk INTO the beam before we beam up. It'd look a LOT better than standing around next to it and getting beamed out of nowhere.

I didn't know that's what caused it (are you sure it only happens in that circumstance?) but yeah, it's a pretty old bug.

Also kind of cool.

Update: I just finished another AE mission (the normal way), and yes, I'm stuck inside the pillar again.

I have no idea what's causing it, but it's fun.

It happened to me once. I had an escort mission and clicked the mission door just as the hostage was arriving. Ended up in the bean

Funny, I've never had it happen to me...

Fickle bugs are fickle.

It's happened to me a few times, but there's been no specific cause that I've noticed.

Absolutely. It would look a lot cooler.

Retain the visual of the beam, but allow us to walk through it. Place the "click here" spot to the floor.
