Drastically reduced enhancements font
I bugged this in game and will continue to do so until it's fixed. I have to go to the combination screen (power by power) to be able to read the numbers, and I find that unacceptable.
I have also sent a bug report. Me, I use a magnifying glass held up to the screen. It's inconvenient, but it will do until the Devs fix it.
Not only did they reduce the size of the font, it seems like they reduced the size of the enhancement itself. iirc, it seems like 6 slots would completely fill up the blue bar, now it seems like there's room for about three or four more slots <insert favorite conspiracy here>.

If I understand all of Master Blade's explanations in the other thread, this is basically a side effect of UM.
It has to do with the resolution being raised, and how it translates with the resolutions you (the many "you", including me) are using in-game. They are not playing together nicely.
They did not actively reduce the size of the enhancements.
Neither did they actively do anything when the side effect was pointed out to them repeatedly in beta.
This is a case of one thing WAI but adversely affecting another thing that is also WAI. In this case, two rights are making a wrong. The new shiney is not so shiney.
This does need to be addressed. It's not just some minor inconvenience, it directly affects our play when we place enhancements at levels we may not have intended.... all because the numbers are insanely illegible.
Adjustments are justifiably called for.

The new enhancement window at a 4:3 aspect ratio. Note that it looks basically exactly the same as it did before Issue 17, except it's a little crisper.
The old enhancement window at some unknown widescreen aspect ratio. Note that the icons are not round and that the blue "title" bar is misshapen. The further from 4:3 aspect ratio you got, the worse the distortion was. I had ovals for enhancements on my 16:9 widescreen. Player speculation places the old enhancement window as being up-scaled from a very low resolution, so there was pixellation for basically everyone who was playing at 1024x768 or larger, and additional distortion for widescreen users.
The new enhancement window at a high resolution (1920x1080), 16:9 aspect ratio. Note that the icons are round and the blue "title" bar is not misshapen, and it is crisp and clean looking. The extra space at the end is because they updated the screen to utilize higher resolution/widescreen monitors. It's dynamically generated, too; set to windowed mode and you can see for yourself that the enhancements window scales as you make the window smaller/bigger. It's not some conspiracy about future more-than-six enhancements feature.
The abysmally small enhancement level text is the only thing not WAI, although it probably is WAD.
