Arc Stats & Info:
  • This event requires 3 to start. We will be running 2-3 teams depending on how many show up.
  • You must be at least level 10 to join the first part, and level 11 to join the second part.
  • We will wait to form teams until close to 10pm Eastern. This will allow us to get a better idea of what builds we have present. Anyone not at the contact, or that has not sent Luna a tell letting her know they are on their way might not be included.
  • We use the global chat channel Freedom TF Chat for these weekly TF's.
  • Remember, non-50s still get XP even if you are EX'd!
  • Number of Missions total: Unknown by me
  • Badges: Rule of Three and Dam Hero which award Positron's Ally if you do no have it yet.
  • Merit Reward: 11+15=26 total

Thanks you two for volunteering. I'm not 100% sure we'll need a 4th team, but I'm opening it up to that option. It's unusual for us to fill up this far before the event. We usually have a lot of people sign up the last day or so, so I'm expecting more sign ups, especially where this is the "new shiny".

We toughed it out and played this weeks TFs at a higher difficulty.

Level: +2

Dam Hero: 58:49

I admit I ran the new Posi already on MB, but it was fun to run it again on a larger team this time. Having the difficulty raised was refreshing as well. I was getting tired of all this easy stuff. haha See you all next week!

I'm so glad the difficulty works on TFs again.. time to start up some +3 "Kill Everything that moves" ITFs again!

I wasn't the good little soldier I should have been and taken screenies but we topped 70 deaths and finished both in about 3.5 hours. Oddly enough the two places we didn't die were the cyst that spawned on the last map and with the good doctor. I couldn't hold enough aggro in dwarf to make a difference.

I do thank all those on the team for sticking it out as it was a nice change from the original TF though.

So is the video card completely and utterly not working, or is it that CoH causes it to crash alot? If it's the latter, have you tried the steps posted somewhere here on the forums for the instability of some video cards with I17?

We had a pretty easy run for Part One of the New Positron TF.


Rule of Three: Completed with 3 deaths in 51 minutes 34 seconds

Part Two was a little rougher on us.


Dam Hero: Completed with 15 deaths in 1 hour 15 minutes 13 seconds

Lots of fun though!
