Lowbie Villain Starting Run, Thursday the 29th at 7 PM Central

I have a new Ice/Storm Corruptor concept I wanted to get off the ground, and I thought it would be best to do so with the launch of I17 and Demon Summoning. Alas, I cannot play on launch night due to my work schedule, so I have to settle for Thursday night.

Mercy Island and Port Oakes always seem overly dreary to me, so it is much more fun to get through those fast on a team that I'm having fun playing with. Figured there might be some other new villains or demon summoners that would like to join in, so shout out if you're interested! Going to start at 7 PM Central/8 PM Eastern in Mercy (probably going to go with Burke rather than Kalinda... I hate kow-towing to Arachnos too much).

I'll probably be rolling two DS MMs since my status in an upcoming weekly group is uncertain, so I'm in. I may not make it right at 8, but no later than 8:30.

Cool, so that's me and Mental running lowbie villains. Who else wants in? Bring another type of villain or add to the horde of demons!

My Cold/Storm Corruptor is all set in Mercy and ready to go for this. All the cool names like Coldfront and Stormfront were taken, so I decided to make his name a little goofy and called him "Fahrenheit Thirtytwo." He's not happy about the name, either... he wanted it to be great and dramatic and came up with Coldfront. But some two bit reporter in Port Oakes called him Fahrenheit 32... and now that's all people can remember to call him now, rather than the good one. Heh.

I'll have to write that up more wittily in the bio.

Sorry Grey. Even without Washing Machine Aura, demons are obnoxiously loud. I'll most likely be avoiding redside for a while.

Can always turn your volume down or edit the sounds for demon summoning. There are guides about.

I just saw that you're taking Burke and not Kalinda... I already took her. I get burned so many times taking him that I tend to avoid it.

Do you want to try to do both or should I just re-roll and take Burke?

Is my 17 SoA (which I made on patch day, hooray for 7 MM/1 SOA teams) low enough for your tastes? :3 I don't mind exemplaring, I just want a team!

In any case, I get home around 6:30 PM EST each week night, so I am definitely in if you've got space still.

I will watch out for you all depending on when I log. I already got my DS/dark MM up to lvl6 and finished Kalinda. But if you all are still running by the time I log on, I will watch the channels. Otherwise, I was planning to pop over to PO to start some papers.

Yeah, any level is welcome, though I'm sure it will be more fun if you start out lower. It won't take us long to get to level 5, I'm sure (it's not 2XP, but I think I got my last lowbie villain to level 5 and Port Oakes range in about 30 minutes- some of that solo, some of that just teamed with Mental). So even if you join us before we get to level 5, Penny, it won't take long. I'll probably be on from 7-9 PM Central.

MG, it's up to you... we may be able to run both contacts, since they don't take long. Probably won't miss out on much if we don't run a mission or arc or two of theirs... they only give out a few merits, I think.

How have you gotten burned by Burke? Both have pretty straightforward missions at those levels.

And cool, we have three, maybe four. Shout out if you want in for sure... I'll prioritize the people that shout out here for the team, but I'll broadcast as needed if we don't fill up here.

Well, that was quite fun. Pretty much had five at the start, and then a couple more joined up once we had moved on to PO (did you know Penny's demon summoning MM is called Pen Tacle? Hilarious!). Had to up the difficulty a bit because we were beating everything up so badly... I think we were dropping Warders in my Mayhem mission in about 3-4 seconds... it was kind of sad: I didn't even have time to toss out Snowstorm on bosses!

Hit level 10 after about 1:50 of playtime, which wasn't too bad, since we weren't at a full team for the entire time. Thanks all of you that joined in, it was fun!

Good run last night. Probably could have stuck it out for 1 more mission, but bed was too tempting. I just hope I stocked up on 15 IOs since the market is down. If not, got to find the DO store lol!
