I've resisted Dark Melee/Invuln for so long. I know it has the best survivability in Scrapperdom, but I've always wanted to see just how much I could do with other combinations. But sheesh, it's just TOO good the way you have it slotted up. I may need to finally break down and start one.

Succubus Kali is seriously so much fun to play! Her build has gone a long way from what it was at the very beginning. This was her v1 build:

It was a good build for the kind of cost it would take to make it, but nowhere close to what my current version (v19 ) accomplishes. Hell, I didn't even have Fireball in the first version and I have practically the same net Endurance gain for v1 (Body Mastery) and v19 (Blaze Mastery).

When I use that build code it shows SL as 6 blank slots.

Between Smite and SL, I gave SL more Recharge because attacks with higher base Recharge get more benefit.

With no incarnate as of yet, consider the Spiritual path: End Redux for everything and a bit more resistance, which helps (specially for S/L). Oh, and you're HP-capped with DP, so I traded a LotG +Def for a plain +Def.

Regardless, if you're not happy you can just revert SL to the previous slotting with Kinetic combat, and you'll have the slots with Rectified Reticle as extras to play with. If you were to slot up Fire Blast, for example, it'd be pretty usable in an attack chain:

Why did you reply to a build that is months old?

That build looks corrupted. I can manage to make it a non-legacy build, but the Numina and Miracle procs appear to be "in-use" in some nebulous slots. I think it's that corrupted data too, but the Endurance management looks really bad.

Losing the Endurance Reduction in Fireball is a no no, as I've figured out while playing Succubus Kali, and she has a level 50 Endurance Reduction IO as the 6th slot for Fireball. Doing the regular single target attack chain might sustain me for a very long time on the current build, but adding Fireball on top of that every 8 seconds gets costly.

There are other things that start unraveling too, but I don't want to make it sound like I'm bashing on the build you're supplying. I'm thankful because it's given me some ideas - I just don't know how to implement them or if it's possible to do so without sacrificing something in another area.

The Cardiac Core Paragon I might've considered if the Scrapper Resist cap were higher than 75%. Right now though, I have a hard time considering the other Alpha boosts for my current build, and I've looked at all of them activated on said build.

"Active thread, must reply to anything" syndrome. Feel free to bash the build tho, it was merely getting that particular build I was replying to and adding the little tweak I saw as easy based on the post. You'd be bashing your own build :P

EDIT: Oh, as far as endurance goes, have you tried slotting Dark Consumption with a couple of EndMods? That can go a surprisingly long way, as I've found out with Actin. Yeah, scourging slots in a tight build ain't easy, I know

I'm fine if I have multiple enemies to consistently use Dark Consumption on. If it's a target that takes more than 3 to 5 minutes, I might need to use a blue Inspiration.

Yeh, that's the rationale for adding the extra endmod. When I was tooling with multiple AVs with Actin, it was when I was getting low on enemies that I ran into trouble (well, end-wise, the start with maximum AVs was much more touble!). With EndMod + Endmod/Rech, I could fight all day vs. 2 AVs (so 2 targets = unlimited end at her consumption rate), and with only one AV it did extend the blue bar pretty nicely (and almost indefinitely by switching one toggle off, typically Tough).

If nothing else, I'd recommend giving it a whirl on test vs. one AV and see if it makes a difference you may be interested in, should be a quick test.

Despite how tough I've built my character, I very rarely will choose to solo an AV. I might get to an AV and fight them several minutes before my team catches up, but that's about it.

Looking at your build and the one that I made, we had the exact same power choices.

I sort of amalgamated your build and mine together to make mine even better, so thanks for the post. I chose to go the Cardiac alpha slot because I didn't want endurance to be an issue, as well as it allowing me to increase my resistance by about 5% overall.

I had yet to find a build posted with fireball in it, which I think is a main flaw of Dark Melee. Not enough AoE to kill spawns fast enough.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Hey Bass, you mind taking a looksie at this build? I plan on respec'ing into it soon and would like your input and, well, anyone else really.

My F/C isn't softcapped more out of choice because it's good enough for me. It's what I am currently running with anyways and I don't feel the need to bump it.

It's not a lot of changes from my current build but will be noticeable. I'd like to squeeze out some more damage output without sacrificing much overall.

Currently, my damage isn't bad at all, but I would like to push this to around 220-225 DPS while maintaining the survivability.

You can already do the Smite>SiphonLife>Smite>MidnightGrasp attack chain and your uptime for Soul Drain is high. The only thing I'd say is go for the Very Rare Musculature Alpha boost. You'd get to around 130% Damage enhancement.

By the way, there's no need to say which Alpha boost you're using anymore. We can see what you pick for the build.

Bass do you really not have single-target chan endo probs?

I modeled my FM/INV build on yours here, and I am having massive endurance issues with my single target chain. Made tons worse by including AOEs.

I am debating losing the F/C soft-cap as well.

Dark Melee does have Dark Consumption. Not a huge boost with the way I have mine set up, but it still matters. My most costly single target attack, Midnight Grasp has a pretty good amount of Endurance Reduction in it. I don't know what kind of single target attack chain you're using, but that too might be + or - what I end up using for my attack chain of Siphon Life>Smite>Midnight Grasp>Smite.

I only have one AoE I can use often, you have two. I put a 6th slot in for Fireball with an Endurance Reduction IO. My build does have a little bit more of net Endurance gain.

I think it's a lot of small things adding up that make your experience with Endurance running out much more noticeable.

Thought I'd throw in my plan build for my DM/Inv Brute.
Took a little different approach on this.... no hasten!!!
Using the Cardiac alpha, DP is about 13 seconds from perma. Not as much defense as you all have up there, but I'm thinking DN could help on my overall survivability.
