Super Group Storage

It is my firm belief that storage within Super group bases could be greatly improved. It should be a priority to the development team to encourage group unity in every way possible as it can be one of many ways this game maintains a loyal player population. Storage space and security within SG bases is a "quality of life" issue. Though there may be some rational explanations as to why things currently are the way they are this does not mean improvements cannot be made. Lack of adequate storage space and security of the items one stores encourages players to form solo sg's just for this purpose and has a negative impact on group camaraderie. It is my belief that a closer gaming community results in a more stable one.

The number of allowable storage containers in a base needs to be increased. The number of allowable members far exceeds the amount of storage space even if most of the sg is comprised of alts.

The inability to give members 100% certainty that their items are secure inside the base needs to be fixed. Allowing the SG lead to apply passwords to enhancement and salvage bins that can then be given to designated members and input when prompted after attempting to access a bin. Sg lead will not be required to remember the password and have the ability to reset it and assign the bin a new one.

Increase the amount of salvage that can be stored in the salvage racks.

YES YES YES!! Only 18 bins per plot, any size?? Are you kidding?? Our plot in Old School Rules, Freedom, is plenty big. We have lots of rooms, and a small but loyal group of members, who each deserve their own room, enhancement bin, salvage bin or two, and inspiration bin. This is impossible with the 18 bin limit.

I also agree whole-heartedly about the privacy protection on the bins. I have never had someone steal someone else's stuff in my sg (knock on wood), but I have known plenty of people who have had it happen, and lost hundreds of millions if not billions of infamy/influence worth of crafted IO's by another member stealing them from the base. It's time to address this issue, PLEASE devs! We need more storage and protections for base bins.

Thank you, rant done.

The devs have stated that they don't want to increase the amount of storage since doing so will increase hoarding and slow down the market.

Personally I think it would provide an extra reserve to help smooth out the fluctuations in market prices (like a capacitor).

This is BS there will always be more rare salvage on sale at the market and less rare IO's yet you can store more enhacements in one bin that you can salvage. So how does that make any sense? Personally I think that's a poor excuse. Don't get me wrong I'm not attacking you but if that is what they said I don't buy it.

Dev reportedly say a lot of stupid things about inventions, the market and storage. I'm not sure how many of the reports I believe.

Sigh, I remember when salvage bins could hold up to 100 but now it's what 30!?! While the salvage in the red market increases it would be great if the devs can make the bins 100 again concerning the market oh please it will always be there for many players to use i don't believe the selling and buying will go down tsk tsk to the devs.

You obviously haven't been playing long nor do you understand the true depth of how salvage bins were limited when I13 went live.

Salvage bins used to hold 2,500 base salvage items, 99 of any one type. When I13 went live the salvage bin storage capacity was slashed to 30 items period.

The reason we were told was because the devs wanted to limit hoarding. It's also the same reason we were told why we couldn't store recipes. It doesn't really matter what excuses they have told us because the players have found ways to hoard items despite the artificial limitations placed on us by the devs.

You obviously know how to sound like somone with a superiority complex. Did you intentionally intend to sound like such a knob?

If you don't like my post, you can put me on your ignore list. If that doesn't help you can click on the rep icon and leave a snarky remark that will never be read.

i think that we still should not be able to store recipies, however, i feel that 30 limit on salvage is way too low because a lvl 50 toon with all the market badges and vanguard storage sack can hold 80 pieces which is about 2 and 2/3 of a storage rack, lvl 50 toons already can easily hoard more than any sg can

18 racks = 540 total salvage vs
18 lvl 50s- with normal 50 slots = 900 salvage
lvl 50s with all salvage slot increases = 1440 salvage

just having 18 lvl 50 toons is enough to almost double the amount of storage space a single sg can hold, add in all the bonuses a toon can get to increase storage almost triples the amount an sg can hold

IMO, i think they should raise the salvage storage to at least equal that of the other storage devices (ie 100)

Thanks Sharker.
