When do I get my 36 month Vet Reward?

I got 33 months on September 26th, 2009, then let my account lapse on November 15th (the day the Loyalty program ended). I renewed on February 10th and my account has been active since then. Seems like I ought to have hit 36 months by now. I know when it's getting close the 36 month reward will appear on my account page grayed out, but so far nothing. Am I doing the math wrong or is something screwy?

I'm a little confused as to how your account lapsed on the 15th while you were earning rewards on the 26th, unless you simply meant that you shut off payment on that date.

It seems like you should have been at 34 months on Oct 26th, then 35 months not on Nov 26th but on Feb 10th. 36 months should then have hit around March 10th.

But Vet Rewards have been bugged for nearly a year now. It's not a Paragon Studios issue, either (it's an NCSoft customer service issue). I've had to petition the last three Vet badges to get them to award, and I've only ever gone without subscribing for a single day when a credit card expired.

Submit a petition in game with the info you posted here and ask them to check your Vet Reward status, and if you are correct with the information you've given, you should have the badge by the end of the week.

If you email the devs for some clarification, they'll let you know. The vet awards were buggy for a while, people not receiving them without having to /bug it and email the devs.
I don't know if it's still going on, my last 2 vet awards had to be obtained that way, hoping for the 12-month to just slide on in there.

I got my 21 month (I think it was 21...shoulder capes) vet reward automatically a couple weeks ago. Didn't have any problem with it.

Even weirder, 30 months was on May 17th, 2009 (pretty sure there was no inactivity there...). Oh and also 27 months is missing from the list in my account info, even though I do have the badge for it.

I'll submit a petition then.

I say this because i had a problem with my 33 reward and now my vet reward time is all wonky on my account management page, but i make sure to keep in on a calendar so i know when i should be getting it.

Veteran time includes the free 2 week trial and any free time awarded for referring friends and/or inviting them back. It's very possible (and quite common) for your payment cycle not to match up with the veteran rewards.

For example, my account was created on Jun 13, 2006 and most of my Veteran rewards have been awarded within a week of the 13th, even though my billing cycle is on the 24th due to various free time that has been added over the years.

He got 33 months on SEPTEMBER 26th. His account lapsed on NOVEMBER 15th. I don't know what world you guys are all living in, but in my world, November comes two months after September. The process he describes is plenty valid.

I never said it wasn't. I was just trying to explain to Chad why the veteran dates and payment dates are not always the same time of the month. Whether or not the OP meant the account expired exactly on that day, or that they simply let time expire at that point.. or how it affects his current badge is all irrelevant to my post.

That's all irrelevant as well. Chad seems to be confused how someone could get a veteran badge in September when their account expired in November... *cough*

Maybe you misunderstood (or i did, i dunno). I took it the other way around. He didn't initially mention the months, just the days of the month, implying (to me) that he didn't understand why the time of the month would be offset for those 2 cycles. It sounded to me like Chad assumed the account should have expired on the 26th to match a monthly trend.

One could easily assume that if you are paying monthly, that you would earn a monthly award at the end of a pay cycle and not have a difference of 13 to 26, so I went on to say that's not how the system actually works.

Regardless of all that, I estimate the OP should have received the reward a week ago:
Sep 26 to Nov 15 is 50 days.
Using 90 days as a rough requirement for a veteran reward, that leaves 40 days remaining.
Feb 10 + 40 days = March 22.

They are submitting a ticket to figure out what's going on and hopefully the issue will be fixed soon.

Just to clarify, my account expired on November 15th. I used the word "lapse" because my brain was too stupid to think of a more appropriate word.

September 29th is actually in line with most of my other Vet Reward dates, except for 30 months which occurred on the 17th of the month, and 27 months which is inexplicably absent from my list as I mentioned earlier.

As a general point of consideration, there is an existing and wide-spread bug that is leading to widespread veteran reward account information corruption. The design team is trying to track it down and implement a fix, but thus far they have been unable to do so. It's quite possible that, given a long enough period of time, every account's vet rewards would eventually become corrupted. Mine finally did earlier this year--it's pretty much only a matter of time. Because of this, your best bet these days is direct conversation with account management CS. And they will have to escalate it several times, so keep your ticket warm and be prepared to wait.

For example, I asked a CS rep twice if I could post their above response on the forums. They never understood me.
