Game randomly crashing while in missions.
Your best bet is to repost this question in the Tech forum; and have your computer specs on hand, they will certainly ask for them.
By the way, is this a crash to the desktop, or does the entire computer shut down? Shut downs are often associated with overheating, a common problem with laptops.

Knight Court--A CoH Story Complete 2/3/2012

Just to desktop. Cheers for the advice. I'll do that later in the morning.

out of curiosity, what do you have your game settings at? just because you have a higher spec macine does not mean that you can run the game at the highest settings. what you can do is post a CoHhelper report and Hijackthis report and we can see if there is something there that can help us help you.
I recently started having CTD problems on my desktop. I installed the latest Windows proofed NVIDIA drivers and all has been well since then.
YMMV

Here's the report from Hijackthis. I'm using Windows 7. Not sure why it says Unknown Windows.

strange that it does it on minimum settings, but if what i'm looking at is true, your video drivers are corrupt. you will need to replace them.
Oh, I see what you mean. "Driver Date: 01/01/0001 00:00:00" doesn't seem normal, does it?

Contact me in-game: @CheeseSlicer
nope. not at all. try it and see what happens and if it doesn't work we'll try to figure out what else it may be.
I've just come back after about a year away from CoH, and I've got a laptop that is higher spec than the laptop I used to play on. I never had crashing problems on my old laptop, but on my new laptop the game has crashed six times in three days while I'm on mission maps. It just stops responding completely, and nothing moves at all.
Edit: It crashed about 10 minutes ago, then when I logged in after posting this, it crashed again straight away.
