It like a new game for

On this comp (new one is being used by someone else presently) my gaming experience was as follows:

-->it would take about 12 minutes to get to login screen

-->about 3 minutes on first load in after I opened it and average 6 after that in low average traffic zones on freedom, best loads were like 2 minutes and anything considered near busy and it averaged about 10 minutes.

-->I had the graphics down to a point I don't think it will let me get to on the new comp

--> had 504 mb of ram and many people commented it was a miracle I could play

--> it was average for me to disconnect, map-serve, or crash ever 4 loads

-->It was a danger for me to use WW and would take 4-10 minutes to load it and was extremely slow to use.

--> when I dced if I did not close and reopen CoH I would dc upon reloading

Now:

-->recommended graphics looks like I upgraded from Nintendo(original) to a 360

-->about a minute to load login screen and less then 20 seconds to zone

--> I load WW in just a few seconds

Its so beautiful and fast I cried.

So no more having to avoid everything that people aren't willing to take at a crawl or that involves little zoneing.

Congrats on new computer.

I would also advise using game booster software application.

It temporally shuts off certain windows services which do not need to be run when gaming to save cpu an memory usage.

Its been over 2 years since I built a new system and my trigger fingers itching.

Love putting them together but I have too many computers NOW and 2 of them
run COH decently, once the ultra mode comes out though we'll have to see how
my tired old 8800GTX handles it.

I fell victim to this last week. My wallet hates me now...
