How are ninjas damage wise?

if you went traps you would be forced to take a slowing and -fly power.
Traps has -fly in webnade and slow in caltrops.

Also, from earlier in the thread, are you sure you can slot the purple confuse proc in Jounin? The only IO options I see are pet damage, kb, defdebuff, and tohitdebuff.

It also effects heals, defence buffs (without a res component), tohit de/buffs and end drain. Mid's does list them, but you have to view the specific details from the database.

Also if you are looking at making your pets more survivable, then taking taunt from the Presence pool is very worthwhile. Go into bg mode and make sure your pets are not standing up close to you when you taunt, so they don't get hit by the AoEs.

From what I recall, the Purple Set only works in Tier 3 Henchmen, since they're the only one's who are Lvl 50. If the henchmen/pet isn't Level 50, the enhancement doesn't actually work.

I noticed you left out Antidote. Is it just not very useful?

the purple pet set does work in lower tier pets because i have my ninja mm slotted with purple set in tier 2 pets

antidote isnt really necessary for a pvp build

It's so hard choosing what to sacrifice. BTW: Ninjas and Pirates hate each other, so you shouldn't do Captain Mako as your patron. It's a disgrace to your ninja-hood!!

You can slot it, it just won't Proc. If it's Proc'ing, it goes against my understanding of the enhancement's functionality, along with what the patch notes say- or at least what I think they say.

You can also check Paragonwiki.

There are also Acc/Mez or Damage/Mez HOs which are real nice for the Oni.

No clue how MMs are in PvP. Storm is fun if you really want a workout, and I think Hurricane's incredibly obnoxious Repel would probably actually useful in PvP. Trick Arrow has some neat toys, and I assume Glue Arrow would do wonders. It sure is an icky ability to get hit with in PvE. But no Heals...not even o2 boost. You're stuck with...gulp...Aid Other from medicine.

Pretend you're a Stalker and target problem mobs like Sappers. My Ninja/Storm tends to do that on the semi-static team I'm in. Afterwards, throw them at bosses/EBs/AVs due to the ST damage.

It should be easy to test if that is proccing correctly, just watch the jounin's stats cause it should proc somewhat frequently. It would be helpful to know if is working in non-50 pets because this comes up all the time but nobody can say definitively if it works or not.

You can also watch their buff bars. The buff will appear with the Quickness icon(Pink icon). This seems like a no-brainer, though. The patch notes clearly state that the pet has to be 50... But will not enhance the pet as long as the summoner is Level 50... Which seems to mean that it's not working.... Even though the patch notes says that it's now working... So then they must only buff the pet if it's level 50... unless the- AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH **** IT!

Right, but might as well test it since he's already got it slotted; would not be the first time the devs "fixed" something and it worked differently from what they said in the patch notes. On a side note they should change it to work anyway; I understand the difficulties of allowing a non-50 pet to benefit from a 50-only enhancement. However the player is 50 and the set is a PET set, so the PET class should be able to slot the ultimate PET set in its PETs, but that's just crazy nonsense, right

Edit: Also, if coercive persuasion can't be slotted in jounin for the same reason (or any other, really), they should change that too, IMO.

Or they could just have all the Henchmen/pets be 50 at 50. But that's more of that crazy nonsense.
