Very cool... you should probably put links to the artist's DA pages though (for the few who don't yet know who Graver is). That should be a sweet statue when done. Any idea what the scale of it will be?

Graver was incredibly patient and paid incredible attention to detail. Virtually everything that Comrade Hero is wearing in this picture is based on real world clothing and equipment.

Uniform - based on layered soft armor concepts.
This looks awesome! I've always been a fan of this character's design. Great Job on him. And amazing job to Graver.

So so much texture ... this a great piece from Graver (most are ) Comrade is a great character and this piece has a nice layout, beautiful muscle definition and great texture. Did I mention I liked the textures?

Shannon Brocas has Graver's wonderful work in hand as well as some additional physical and uniform references I've sent him.
Decided to go with a head to waist sculpture rather than the full sized one. Not so much influenced by cost, but practicality. Shannon will do the sculpting, his father will do the painting. Project to take around three months.
Will keep updated.
Oh, that should be very cool! I've pondered some sort of sculp, but haven't pulled the trigger as yet. I'll look forward to seeing this...
