1762x992 no loner supported?
Champions has nothing to do with this game at all and should have no bearing on what your resolution is doing in CoH. go into your options menu in game and set your graphics to what you want. update your video drivers also. they're almost 1 yr old. and update vista to service pack 2. and clean out your c drive. 10% free is not a good thing. i would suggest doing a disc clean up and defrag first before anything.
Never mind. Just realized that for some reason my desktop resolution had a refresh of 25 (interlaced, gotta love it :/ ) and not my usual 30. CoH apparently wont run at 25 refresh. Upped it to 30 and it works again.

i would still get the updates you need or you are going to run into more problems. i would also free up at least 25% of your C: drive.
Why? I've run for years with only a few percent of the hard drive free.

If you run Windows on a 64 bit system with 8-16GB of RAM, this might not be an issue for you ... but if you are running Windows with 1-2 GB of RAM or less, you might find that you see performance improvement when running memory intensive applications if you have more HDD space available for pagefile expansion.
Storm
Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace amid the storm ...
Before the release of Champions Online (I know big mistake going there at all) I ran at the resolution of 1762x992, which is the highest resolution my HDTV supports while still displaying everything on the screen (through my DVI connection it will display off the screen at 1080i/p). I can get into the game at 1080i, but with the problem that some of the game is offscreen. When I run at 1762x992, it all runs beautifully. I run most games at this resolution, and in the past, CoH didn't complain about it.
Now it tells me that this is not a supported format and reverts to 1024x768
I can run it it windowed mode, but my framerate is continually dropping below 5. Any thoughts on forcing CoH to accept a perfectly reasonable resolution?
