BaB commented on that quite a while ago, and said they'd look more distinctive than the concept art makes them look. Less fleshy, for one thing.

It's lazy work...how is this new to any of us playing the game since beta?

I thought they were modeled after the Balrog, especially with the whole whipping action.
Or in other words: they copied an idea that was a copy of an idea etc.

Well il wait and see tbh... its actually a better idea than i originally though, i was expecting them just to use the original demon skins they have been using for years in CoX missions and just put them into a set lol.
