Dark Electric Build - Slotting Voltaic Sentinel and Dark Servant
I would not triple slot swift, and only double slot it perchance to put stealth proc in it.
From my personal experience, I like to put as much tohit debuff in the Dark Servant as I can. I six slot him with a set to get extra endurance reduction and the like. Everything that the Dark Servant performs includes a tohit debuff component including the Twilight Grasp heal. Chill of the Night is one of the strongest debuffs in the game and shorting that enhancement leaves the Dark Servant's build lacking.
I will let someone else tackle the Voltaic Sentinel.

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.

So your saying something along the lines of Dark Watcher Despair.
Makes sense looking back now..

Personally I'd slot Voltaic Sentinel for Damage, Accuracy and maybe Recharge rather than End Mod. It basically fills the role of the third single target attack for Electricity so it's good for it to cause damage. My personal preference would be for either Call to Arms or Expedient Reinforcement since they both have a global recharge bonus in the fourth slot.
There are a few places it's worth tweaking other powers as well. In Thunderous Blast if you're going to 5-slot Positron's Blast you're better off leaving out the Dam/Range and including the proc. Positron's Blast is actually slightly overslotted for Damage and the range boost isn't really that useful except in cones (and even then I consider it marginal). It's also worth getting an extra slot from somewhere for a generic recharge (I recommend taking it from Ball Lightning). The same applies to Ball Lightning, except the recharge is less useful so I'd move the sixth slot from there to Thunderous Blast.
You can't put a Stealth IO in swift but you can put one in Sprint to get PvE stealth with Shadow Fall if you want that.
I'd try and find a fourth slot somewhere for Darkest Night. Dark Watcher's despair has a recharge bonus in the fourth slot. Similarly for Fearsome Stare I'd four slot Dark Watchers with a generic Accuracy enhancement or two rather than going for Siphon Insight. If you wanted the to hit proc there is an IO in Kismet that can be slotted in Shadow Fall and will give you 6% To Hit as long as you keep Shadow Fall running which is probably a better use of the slot.

SWIFT takes NO set IO enhancements, honestly I was thinking sprint.
Also should be noted: HURDLE takes no travel IO sets either.

Slot VS for damage as much as possible before it hits ED, then slot for accuracy. Recharge will NOT help you though, because you can't have more than one VS out at a time, and last I recall the recharge time of the power is less than or equal to the amount of time that VS stays out for.
I love VS, it's my favorite "pet" because it can't be killed unless you are and it keeps on attacking, even if you're mezzed.

Can't go wrong with a full set of blood mandate for a load of defense. If you want recharge instead of defense or you're low on slots, you could do this instead.
Level 26: Voltaic Sentinel
- (A) Expedient Reinforcement - Accuracy/Damage
- (27) Expedient Reinforcement - Damage/Endurance
- (27) Expedient Reinforcement - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge
- (29) Expedient Reinforcement - Endurance/Damage/Recharge
Any particular reason for 6-slotting Touch of the Nictus aside from the 6-piece bonus? If you really wanted the damage, you could go for the
Cloud Senses proc instead, have it proc off all abilities, instead of just the heal.

Thanks for all the info.
There is really no reasons why I am slotting some stuff. EG 6 slotting touch of nictus.
It seems I have lost some sense of direction with IO's. As a perfect example the I didn't pick the range extension in Positron Blast set, but I picked it more for the damage increase. Of course stepping back now and taking another look I can see some stuff is all over the place.
I know I started asking about VS and DS and it seems the build needs work beyond these 2 powers.

I am reworking Twilight Grasp to make more sense. I seen new shiny IO's ( since I came back ) and got attracted to the newness of it.

I have been looking back at several old threads and haven't seen much about Dark Electric builds.
I have been wondering on what some people have been slotting Voltaic Sentinel and Dark Servant with.
This is what I was considering personally myself. Not knowing too much where to go with them.
The full build listed below shows pretty much where I am going with this build. In the build listed below I did not pick a travel power as I have the that Ninja Run from the X Pac. So I went with Swift and triple slotted it. I can pick up a Jetpack in game also so traveling difficult areas I should be okay. I further done some simple timing runs and super speed is not that much faster then the Ninja Travel power when dealing with certain terrain obstacles.
I posted the full build in case someone wanted to jump in and toss around some insight on the build itself as well.
