Hi, Two Girls here from the Justice crew that took on the Extreme challenge. Here's an edited screenie of our run for those that wanted to see. We were 2 gens away from a deathless run.. so close lol. Thanks again PERC for a fun contest.

That was fun!

This was our nearly-winning run; I forgot to take a screenshot of our award-winning Persistent run. (I ran as Cute Kenetic and Ninja Surprise.)

Wow, yeah... our first run was close. Heck, we could have made up that time with those little things in the first mission.

But meh, we had fun, that's the biggest thing. I'm still annoyed at how Agent Janus was defeated in the last mission of our second run. I popped a purple to get to the def cap and an orange, and somehow got dropped then. But that setup was fine for other mobs in the TF, and he hardly got scratched while taking on a generator alone, too. Weird.

Thanks for posting the results, MP, it's interesting to hear how people did.

I do have a rule question since it came up during our second attempt. KT switched anyway, but I wasn't sure if he, or the team, wouldn't be eligible for any kind of prize if he hadn't changed characters for the second run (we all had anyway), even though we were using a different difficulty setting. (Yes, I hold the record for run-on sentences that are valid!)

The rule wasn't specifically clear IMO and I'm not sure if I would have switched if it didn't matter.

edit: Not sure of any of the other teams, but we didn't use any temp powers, that I know of, other than Reveal and Team Recall. Either of which wasn't needed, just fun to use Would be interesting to see another setup like this but without temps at all, and maybe toss in the "no inspirations" setting as well. EoEs were damn handy, I gotta say and well worth the price, but it's certainly more than doable without em.

I believe it was intended for any particular team to run it multiple times until they were satisfied with their results.

P.E.R.C. had no way of knowing if how many times team A ran it only if the screen shot was submitted for an entry.

Sure, but I submitted two different entries, 1 each of a different difficulty setting. If in the alternative reality that both entries were "the best" for their categories and only one person hadn't changed characters, only one of the entries could have been valid (judges pick?)?

Has no bearing on any judgements either way, was just curious. Might just be me who didn't think it was clear also *shrug*.

I think KT was bored switching to the blaster and would have preferred to stay on the only character he really has for the 2nd run

I am not certain of this...

But lets say that both entries won the overall for the respective categories, and KT was on the same toon for both teams. Only he would be ineligible for both categories and that is due to the nature of the prize, only one GOLD TITLE can be worn at a time.

He would have to choose which one he wants or the Committee would have chosen for him.

The rest of the team, both of them would be eligible for the prize.

Technically we could have disqualified the team. But we really try not to do that unless someone is seriously cheating. The only real way to do that in this challenge would be to edit screen shots (which we checked for).

As for temps, I know that some teams used Vanguard Heavies and Shivans and possibly nukes. If I was thinking, I would have also used the ethereal shift power a few times .

I may run a Victory only version at some point, not necessarily Lady Grey, maybe ITF or something. Buffed Romans, sounds fun!

Hmmmm, I hope she'll be on during the evening sometime to do the labeling. How long are they going to be set to last, out of curiosity?

Doing the same event on just Victory does sound pretty good, too.
