Does Force of Nature provide Mez protection?
No personal experience with it ... but Mids shows no mez protection or mez resistance in FoN.

-I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use. - Galileo Galilei
-When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty. - Thomas Jefferson
I tried it on my Empath briefly, when I was deciding which Mastery set to go with.
As Miladys mentioned, it does not provide status protection, and to make it even worse, because the the damage output of a defender (perhaps just Empathy) is on the low side, it can easily wear off before a fight is over if you pop it too soon.
Overall, I feel its a poor choice for anything except a High-DPS AT like scrapper or blaster.

Forgive my ignorance, but what "God Mode" powers that squishies get offer Mez protection? Offhand I keep thinking about "God Mode" powers and I keep thinking of melee sets that already have mez protection by default.

I'd say that is most of the "God Mode" Powers.
Scrapper Power Surge
Scrapper Unstoppable
Scrapper Moment of Glory
Scrapper One with Shield
Scrapper Strength of Will
Tanker Power Surge
Tanker Unstoppable
Tanker One with Shield
Tanker Strength of Will

Force of Nature is thus probably the closest thing a "squishy" has to a god-mode power, though I think Vengence might be a worthy runner-up.
Back in the day (I3? I4? When did they put in the epic powers?) they specifically took the mez protection out of FoN because... get this... Scrappers complained.
My Invuln scrapper was THIRTY TIMES TOUGHER than my wife's Fire blaster and yet... scrappers complained.
People needed hittin'.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
I didn't see it as a stupid question. Force of Nature is the only "God Mode" power that Defenders get. I don't think Scrappers would've cared if Defenders had Mez protection.
Besides the Devs ended up giving Blaster limited mez protection for their tier 1 and tier 2 blasts.

seriously though if you want mez prot. pick up some spare break frees.

Basically, no Ancillary or Patron Power provides mez protection. If one did, then they would all have to. Otherwise, you would be at a severe disadvantage if you did NOT take Force of Nature.
The two "God Mode" powers available in Ancillary Pools are Force of Nature and Surge of Power. Defenders get the former, Dominators get the latter, Blasters get both. (And Corruptors get the shaft, so be glad to get anything at all )
Actually, you're wrong. Check out Controller Psionic Mastery's Indomitable Will. While the recharge is a bit high for most builds to manage getting it permanent (*/Kin and */Rad can manage it thanks to native +rech buffs), it is still a mez protection ability within an APP.

I actually could care less about the resistances, with the crash I'm not sure if its worth it not to get mez protection. I just wanted the mez protection.

Interesting that this can be perma. God Modes cannot be perma'ed. So I figured there was a chance.

I am in agreement with PC_Guy though. I prefer the term "unstoppable type" powers, and have never liked them. About the only AT (in my opinion) that can really capitalize on their use would be Scrappers, since the amount of DPS they deal combined with being a little more squishy than a tank, makes them a great "panic button". On Tanks, and the "one" defender I have tried it with, they are a gamble that is weighed heavily in the house's favor.

I'd consider fighting through the crash on a Defender to get even a little mez protection from Force of Nature. But I can see where other characters would be reluctant to.
It doesn't say that it does, but most of the "God Mode" powers do provide Mez protection.
