Thats like the one Defender you dont have to really worry about slotting, because they are beasts already.Only thing id possibly say would be anything near what the build could use for IOs would be End Redux, or Recovery.The rest is taken care of, and congradulations to grabbing up the best all around balanced Defender in the game, and dusting it off.
As for a Epic Pool, id go with whatever floats your boat.Most go with Dark Mastery, but I am going for Electric Mastery for my Dark Defender.I like being able to Thunder Strike mobs.
With tar patch, howling twilight, and your nuke, I would suggest getting recharge global bonuses. I slot Glimpse of the Abyss in higher level dark users because I like the bonuses, and I think fear is a good component when you have the other -tohit cooking well in the higher levels. Early levels, put -tohit in Fearsome Stare. I emphasize -tohit in the Dark Servant if for nothing else other than the Chill of the Night Aura your dust bunny uses to great avail. Electric is not a bad epic set since it has the recovery drain power sink to use after nuking. Yes, my defenders usually nuke for the guilty pleasure of it. Like the previous poster related, it's hard to go wrong with a DDD.

I look forward to trying her out, in truth she is my other half's toon and he has now retired from being a superhero, so I decided to dust her off.
I would still love to see a couple of mids builds if possible before I start rebuilding her.
So what's your focus, team mostly, half and half, or always soloing? What's your playing style? Hanging with second rank or getting in the thick of a battle... more wanting strong debuffs or killer damage. I could even ask, are you looking for a task force build for ITF or Stateman? Then the last question is budget... how much are you willing to spend?
