Better to do that than do it on something more expensive, I saw the results of somebody bidding the best part of 800M for a LotG +rech but wasn't personally on either side of that one.
My worst one of those so far was only 40M or so (trying to bid on 10x500K for rare salvage and bidding 10x5M when the going rate was 1M).

So I've finally done it, bid 150mil on a lvl 28 Kin Combat Dam/End instead of 15mil...my forehead still hurts from the facepalm.
