Yeah I'm a little sick of this junk. My area got mostly ice from the storm this past weekend, so we have inches of ice that are now getting coated with inches of snow. Bleh.

I would volunteer my couch for those of you needing to get away from the snow, but it would be kinda hard to make it here through the unbelievable 70 degree weather we're having. It's dangerous out there!
But seriously.... Sorry to hear about the snow woes. I'm sure it's definitely not fun to have to deal with being stuck at your house AND no power. I've had that happen before during hurricanes here, so I can imagine the horror!

This is weird I got like an inch last night and I'm in Canada but haven't had any for weeks now and British Columbia where the Olympics are being held was so low on snow they were trucking in snow from like 100KM north. WTF weather messed up much.

I'd give my eye teeth for a few feet of snow right now. Olympics are in a few days and we've barely seen any white stuff all winter. They're talking about having to truck it in/make it/perform ancient pagan rites to get enough for the games. That'll cost the city it's only remaining leg and kidney. =-_-=;;;

Well, we finally got power back today.
The power was out from early Saturday morning (around 4:30am) to today (Tuesday) at about 5:30pm...
It got pretty ugly...

Here we go again. About 6 inches this time, but it's a wet snow making for ice last night and this morning, plus 40-50mph winds for total whiteouts (I lol'd when I looked out the window and saw nothing for about five seconds...).
Expecting the power to go out again today, but I have 3 thermoses of hot water this time, totallying about 9 liters. Turg an' Tina will be able to have COFFEE during this blackout, by golly.

Just look on the bright side. It could be worse. In the area I live the record is 50 inches in one day. There was a storm that lasted 4.5 days and dumped 102 inches. 3 years ago we got over 100 inches in 7 days. I need to move somewhere warmer.
