Help me design a character - "Seven Thrice"

The phrase "Seven Thrice" came up in conversation tonight, and I immediately said "That sounds like an awesome name for a character in something." BUT I have no idea what KIND of character! So who wants to help me decide who and what Seven Thrice is? I'd love your help in creating a complete character. I'll probably end up mixing and matching the best suggestions.

Suggestions I'd like to see:
-Potential alternate spellings or similar but different names ("Sevin Thrise"?)
-Gender/body type
-Background/origin
-Personality
-Costume
-Hero or Villain?
-AT/Build (no epic AT's, sadly)

Ready? Go!

EDIT: Just confirmed "Seven Thrice" is actually available on virtue, woo.

To me it sounds like an enigmatic assassin, so perhaps a stalker. I came up with a little poem that you might include as bind:

Seven words to speak before you die;
Seven seconds until you roll the dice;
And to your maker say, "Seven Thrice!"

I'd stay away from alternate spellings, since the original is pretty good.

Option 1: DB/Nin Stalker
-body type other than huge.
-background: originally an enforcer for the Tsoo, he got involved heavily with thier illegal gambling operations.
-costume: white tights with black spade possible red trim. (alt costume: White with red diamond, black trim.)
Personality: slight obsessions with playing cards and his use of phrases related to "cut the cards", "Death of 21 cuts" and "The House always wins in the end".

Option 2: AR/Dev Blaster or AR/Traps Corruptor.
Male with any of the following costumes: military, street clothes, whatever.
Background: having lost so many of his friends in combat, he finally lost it when he had to be in the squad firing the 21-gun salute for his own brother. He quit the service and struck out on his own, refusing to be in a situation where he would fight on a team, and have to watch them die.

Edit: The name seems to just scream "Someone with an obsession" to me, so Natural origin, weapon-user. Blackjack and 21-gun salute were the two things that came to mind from the number 21. Legal drinking age doesn't make a decent character concept.

Although.......a multiple personality disorder, where all three personalities are seven years old? Probably not.

Wow, some really great ideas there, and even more motivation for me to buy the Ninja super booster. Hrm.....

Anyone else got anything?

Thanks!

And in case anyone didn't pick it up. Each of the three lines has seven words. SEVEN THRICE!

Oddly enough, I was coming to the forums to make an almost identical thread for a new character.

I personally like the idea of the AR/ blaster, special forces-type assassin. Long Range Missile, Full Auto, and if he's still standing and coming for you, mines!

I'm picturing more of a ghost-story serial killer.

An urban legend similar to the Candyman myth, speaking the name Seven three times in a mirror causes the spirit of the serial killer Patrick 'Seven' Times to appear and slay the summoner, taking on the form of the first victim and killing another 6 people before vanishing.

Every time a person

is killed by Seven,

Seven takes their

body for his own.

The legend was updated in the 1980's after people were being told to say Seven seven times, instead of three.

The legend is now known as SEVEN THRICE.

The name makes me think of reincarnation for some reason - the Seven-Thrice-Born Warrior.

A hero who has to be reincarnated seven thrice times befroe fulfilling their final purpose?
This has been going on since ancient times, possibly Mu-related if you want a CoH tie-in?

Possible ideas to flesh this out:

The hero's spirit reveals itself sometime in young adulthood, with memories of the other incaranations breaking through into the conscious mind. This manifests as a nervous breakdown, possibly with superpowers attached once the memories are integrated.

The hero personality is separate from the host somehow, and speaks in prophecies occasionally, wiht neither really knowing the ultimate goal. What is apparent though, is that this is the 20th incarnation, and must therefore die before the ultimate purpose can be fulfilled.

The hero spirit reincarnates every century, making this the 21st Century version, hence the final reincarnation of the Seven Thrice Born Warrior. The hero spirit in this way is having to face mortality in a way it hadn't before, since it wont get reborn this time. Great for making up background material as you go along.

The Seven Thrice Born Warrior is hunting something through time - he/she's the solution to an enemy of Mu that could move freely through time. The enemy may already have been defeated in the past, but the 21st C incarnation is required to strike a weakening blow before it slinks back to the 6th Century, or whatever.
