Lions , tigers and bears is awesome so im gonna gush and squee because I love that comic and its tale of stuffed animals protecting children from nightmare creatures .

and its extra cool because much like the heroes of Lions , Tigers and Bears her origin has her as a stuffed toy and imaginary friend come to life .

Yeah Shia always adds so much to my lines when he colors them and since he often does coloring on his stream channel I get to slowly figure out scary ole photoshop.

oh ? how would you have done it or how did you see it in your head ? im still trying to figure out how to make her look glossy and one of these days I should add her inbulnerability aura too .

Well I wouldn't have done it all since I have no talent... But I just didn't imagine it in those flourescenty shades (for lack of a real knowledge of how to describe those tones...) I suppose I just automatically default into thinking of b&w arts into more standard comic book coloring.

But as I said, it looks great like that!

Genzoman might be a good persons art to study if you want to see glossy/shiny skin (he is also exceptionally good with composition and layout) done really well.
I personally think Genzo goes too far sometimes in that all his textures (even fur) tend to have the same glossy look and that can make some of
the images kinda plastic-y looking (like when all the metal armor, cloth and skin in a picture have the same shiny properties)
but it's the style he's known for and he's an amazing painter regardless, definitely worth a look see.
