Electric/Sonic can it target the Voltaic Sentinel with - resistance ally aura?

Voltaic Sentinel is untargetable. So there's no way to hang a toggle or shield on one, unfortunately.

You could use the vet pet (small buff one). But he will die even sooner now.

Probably for the best, electric isn't a great blast set anyway.
Yeah, while I like it for hard-target sapping on my elec/therm, Voltaic Sentinel is generally pretty lacklustre.
I'd drop it or the snipe for a tier3 blast in an instant.
If you want to be able to use Sonic Disruption solo you could consider one of the PPP pets. That said, they're all pretty awful so I wouldn't recommend it, just saying it is an option.
For a /sonic I'd just recommend you go with Fire/ or Sonic/. Both have a solid punch to do most of the heavy lifting for /sonic solo as well as to make the most of the debuffs you bring in teams.
