Now these are 2 sets that I have never played. So I am hoping that you all can take a look possibly give me pointers on the build.

I won't comment on your particular build, but I will say the only brute that I have ever built and regretted is EM/SR.

Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.

"You're right...I forgot...being constantly at or the near the damage cap is a big turn off. Definitely not worth it."

Two questions...what does your budget look like and are you sure you want to build a brute that has little aoe and no damage aura?

Is this for PvP or PvE?

lvl 50 - Elec/WP/Mu Mastery Stalker, lvl 50 - Dark/EA/Soul Mastery Stalker, lvl 50 - EM/Nin/Soul Mastery Stalker

When i saw the thread i have to say i thought you meant Electric melee, which would be an awesome combo.

Energy melee is a bit of a shoddy set in my eyes. i would suggest going with something else as energy doesn't really bring anything major to the table.

With SR's added recharge redux you can get to perma hasten speed which is pretty sweet and with set's like ElM especially you would be able to fire off some pretty high damage chains which could down a whole mob in seconds.

What other set's have you not tried as im guessing you don't want to be repeating sets.

I can have a budget of about 200-300 mil. I can live with little to no AoE.

I have been playing awhile, almost 66 months. I have played almost all brute sets to 50, some more than once, and since I just recently got my Tank blue side to 50 and slotted and all accolades, I'm looking for something I have never played. I guess I'm just in that post 50 zone wondering what to play next.

EM and SR are two sets that I have never played and it seemed like and interesting combo. I am aware of how much EM was nerfed with the Energy Transfer activation time being upped quite a bit. I'm also aware of the AOE short comings. I was just looking for something different to play.
