Slotting recommendation for staminaless stalker

How would you slot the following attacks for a staminaless Elec/WP/Mako stalker:

Thunderstrike (6 slots):
AS (6 slots):
Shark (6 slots):
Havoc Punch (5 or 6 slots): should I slot for purples (Fortunata) set bonus or actually slot for attack (will have at least the Fortunataroc)

Well, given that you're posting this in the PvP forum, I'd forget about Stamina
entirely - for a Stalker. Your stealth gives you the advantage of picking
when you start/enter a fight, so you don't need to sweat it - go in when
you're ready.

Also, in PvP, you're not going to get into extended fights - you'll be dead
by then, or he will...

So, I slot my attacks for Acc/Dmg/Rch, and I aim for 60% / 95% / 60%
respectively. If you have any other accuracy bonuses (Kismet, set
bonuses - like Crushing Impact or Thunderstrike) you'll be soft capped vs
any NPCs and many (if not most) players in Acc.

After that, if you have slot-room, I'd think about Procs - things that have
a chance to cause more dmg etc.

If you're Stalker is a L50, you might also want to look at Hami-O's to help
meet those target numbers, but it's fairly easy to do with just Set IO's in
the L25-L50 range (depending on where you want bonuses to work also).

Regards,
4

PS> I've yet to slot a purple into anything - if you don't care about expense,
or you feel you MUST have them, go for it... They're better, from a pure
numbers standpoint, but your toon can perform just fine without them.

I will pretty much go against everything 4speed says and say slotting end reduction is huge. I play my elec/wp/soul quite a bit in pvp to farm pvpos. It could use some more procs in the attacks but it takes a long time for him to run down on end. And sometimes in zone you do actually end up scrapping it out so +recovery and end reduction can be key. This is the pretty much the build I run on live, you can tweak it some to add in mako and such but it gives you a good idea of what actually works.

Thx ConFlict for the build. It's pretty close to the build that I respec'd into, but I ended up going with Mako for shark and hibernate (plus phase). I also skipped on Fast Healing for SoW for end recovery purposes. As for slotting, on my pve build I had set of ToD on Havoc Punch, set of Mako's on AS, and set of Obliteration on both Thunder Strike and Lightning Rod. In order to pull other IO's out first, I kept them there for now. Since I have several respecs left on the toon, I will change them at a later time.

If you see "Ms. Danielle" that's me. See you in Freedom RV.

SoW you will end up disliking. Its -recovery on crash is brutal, though with hiber you will be alright its way skippable. The only reason I ever had it in my build was back when kb protection suppressed for the kb io mule. Keep your eye out for Emcee Bad Beat, thats my stalker.

Thats why the forums is a good place to discuss these things...different perspectives and playstyles.

Interesting. I'll have to take a look at this build when I get home later...
I haven't played Electrical at all, and only dabbled with Willpower (I tend
to enjoy the variety of toys that /nin offers).

I'm guessing we have very different playstyles. None of my PvP stalkers have
Stamina and I don't miss it at all. In some rare PvE cases, it can be a small
issue, but that's what CaB's are for... It's never been a PvP problem for me.

In terms of slotting, all of my attacks are Frankenslotted, so there is
typically 1 SO or more worth of ERdx in them in addition to maximizing the
Acc/Dmg attributes.

Finally, I don't get into "extended" PvP fights for a few reasons:

1> I don't FiteClub (not saying you do). So, the whole dueling, extended,
slugfest simply doesn't happen in my case.

2> I run in zone (SC mostly). Heroes play in teams there - it's typically only
a few seconds before they gang-up for a gankfest in most cases. Once I pop
in, I'm pretty much assured the cavalry is on it's way. I prefer to kill my
target and be gone before they arrive.

3> I hate dying more than I enjoy killing. For me this, and point #2 really
influence when and how I pick my battles, and how long I'll stick around...

The good news is now the OP has a couple ways of looking at the issue, and
we're both pretty comfortable that the way we use works for each of us.

4

Yup, definitely appreciate the feedbacks. Gives things to think about. Try them out, and then adapt to my playstyle.

I would have never tried out Staminaless as I don't like running out of end; however, for stalkers, especially elec/wp, seems to be fine so far. It helps that you can control the engagement. I'm still missing tons of IOs especially the heavy duty procs, but I have one PvP IO that I will be putting up for sale, so that should help out a bit.

my spines/regen stalker runs with 2.5end/s recovery inside a pvp zone.

that's a good guideline if you intend on spamming a certain attack (be it sharks, thunderstrike or impale).

my elec/ea runs with around 2.20end/s, but i use it mostly for KB's, so i'm in godmode 50% of the time and conserve power lets me get away with the rest. running 9 toggles is pretty nuts though.
