Fire/Shield/Fire Problem
I've managed to screw up my Mids so that I can't import builds, is your problem that you are showing too much Def in mids or too little? If it's too much then do you have Phalanx fighting set so that is not taking a teamate in range and boosting def? if it is showing too little are the enhancements in the mids build the same level as the ones you have live (for example, if you have lvl 30 LoTGs slotted in mids but actually have lvl 50s you will throw your defense numbers off, not by much but a little). Anyway thats all i can venture to think of atm.

Sure, the devs are supposed to listen to their customers, mister business 101 out there. And if I decide to start suggesting that the devs change the game from being about superheroes and supervillains to being about clowns that is my right as well, and technically Paragon Studios is supposed to pay attention to me. But I hope strongly that they assume a meth-head somehow managed to hack into my forum account and make paper airplanes out of my posts, because I hope they recognize stupid when they see it. I assume they will recognize futile just as accurately.

Mid's is bugged. Phalanx fighting provides 3.75 ranged, melee, and aoe defense (unenhanceable) but Mid's does not add the 3.75 ranged portion.
If you can get your ranged defense to 41.25 in Mid's, and you take Phalanx, you will be capped.

Open Mids' and do this:
Options --> Advanced --> Database editor
--> Main Database Editor
--> Select Scrapper_Defense (left side)
--> Select Shield_Defense (middle)
--> Double click on Phalanx_Fighting (right side)
--> Click on Effects tab (3rd from left)
--> Double click 3.75% Defense (Ranged)
--> From the Affects: dropdown menu, select [none]
--> OK
--> OK
--> Save & Close
--> Close

You know it's funny that you bring this up. I was running my Fire/Shield/Fire Akrasia last night and was tweaking Mids a bit. I noticed this same thing. It's good to know!

Alright, so I've had this toon for a while now & it's been softcapped. Went SJ/Fitness/Fighting/Medicine with Body Mastery. I only picked up CP from Body & left the default slot in it. & 6 slotted Aid Self. Now I redid the build & dropped medicine & picked up Blaze Mastery. I only 6 slotted Fireball & everything else in the build is exactly the same. I've checked multiple times but my Defenses are off. In game I have 46.98 Ranged, 45.69 Melee, & 45.42 AoE. But that is not the case in Mid's.
